So, while this is a fantastic video because of it's production, editing and subject matter. It really feels like the content is lacking, when compared with something like Kurzgesagt, RealLifeLore, WendoverProductions, etc. After introducing Tonawanda, I felt like there was a real opportunity to discuss some of the plans for the town, in addition to the fate of the power station. What will they do for power? How will those displaced jobs be replaced? How will business dependent on those workers and money find a suitable way to stay open? Local tax revenue from those jobs or the employer, where does the government get it's share from? How will they continue to grow their city, as opposed to becoming a ghost town? Those are the questions I felt like I wanted answers to, after watching.

Hey, thanks for the thoughtful feedback, Mike! This was meant to be a pretty high-level explainer, to just give folks the very basics of the Just Transition concept. We're definitely exploring / want to do more of that in-depth stuff you talk about, but sometimes its difficult to get the funding to go to these places and report. That being said, we have an in-depth written story on Tonawanda (and a similar series of stories on how communities are fixing things for themselves). grist.org/justice/a-working-class-buffalo-suburb-retired-a-coal-plant-the-right-way/

I read the article you linked here. Some of those other KZbin channels Mike mentioned will reference and link to sources of more information - like articles, websites, or other videos - in the video descriptions or in the videos themselves. That might be a simple way to address people hungry for more content in the meantime.

You guys should do more collabs. It's so sad to see good content not appreciated.
