So I ordered one from eBay and the copper tube is straight and not curved at the end does that matter??

Well, it's not how I make them, so it matters to me🤪 All aluminum, bent to pickup from the center of the engine case, that's the only way I think they should be done. If I thought anything else was acceptable, I'd be making them that way.

I have a question! On the 2022+ grom, if you installed the modded pump, and went down hill, so a reverse wheelie, do you risk starving the head of oil? If so, would it have to be a steep ass hill? And secondly, a few places who also sell the oil pump, said that the pump is also unable to operate when the engine is at 12, but only on the 2022? I'm curious what was changed. Thanks and keep up the good work! 💪

Yeah, downhill isn't really an issue. The engine is horizontal, so the oil is actually gonna want to stay in the head a little longer on a downhill. It's a question that comes up, but I haven't heard or been able to find anyone who's had and issue will downhill oil starvation. Everything changed in 22+, it's kinda a whole different engine, other than being a horizontal single cylinder. Well I shouldn't speak so broadly, enough of it changed to make a difference, anyhow, ha, ha. Internal case design, oil pathway, oil distribution at head, lots of things! I'm working on a pretty cheap fix, but too busy making pumps to get the R&D started.
