A humanize-function would be great to dequantize the results. So the outcome is sometimes too perfect and unnatural. The swing function is a first step in that direction, but still something different than a humanization.

Most DAWs now have Humanize as a MIDI function. Logic does. Not sure which you're using, but it should have it.

@@bhp1162 The humanization of a DAW works fine with midi-events in a track, but not with midi-output of a plugin, that are live sent to a instrument track because that midi-out can only be delayed by the DAW. A DAW cant play a note a hint to early, when the note is not produced yet by the plugin. Thats why plugins like scaler have a build in humanize-function instead of using the daws one.

So it's kinda like Beat Scholar it seems. I wish someone would make a regular MIDI Drum (step) sequencer with all the bells and whistles. Something similar to what Sugar Bytes DrumComputer has in it but without the samplers/libraries/drum modeling, ect. Just a good looking sequencer with MIDI out. It would be cool if we could add/remove lanes, change the colors, name them, set lengths, time sig per lane. Throw in some reverse, ping pong, probability, and a groove pool like function (per lane) and it's golden. No one makes one, that I can find. Crazy.

This concept is similar in other sequencers but it's more effective being separated out in this form especially when working with Kontakt. At first glance, I was thinking nah but this is a game changer.

Hey, this is already available in the toolbar under 'View'. You can choose to visualise in classical notation.
