Sure, this was exactly the pressure he needed to teach him to stand up for himself and get confidence and courage. But if after such treatment he stays in this group, he would prove he learned nothing. Because a strong person should not allow to treat himself like this. On the other hand, he was hooked up on the sense of belonging, it was the only group of people he felt comfortable with, he wanted to stay. Dilemma.

Absolutely brilliant, and highly disturbingly frightening, more than any more classic horror film. I cannot help seeing this film as an allegory for despotism and dictatorship, like it is happening in many a large country around the Globe. Which makes it all the more scary. Thank you for this masterpiece!

Very clever - brilliantly written, acted and filmed. It raises more questions than it answers, and I suppose that's kind of the point ;) Whether Group B is promotion further into Ponzi scheme to extort cash or a genuine promotion of some kind is unimportant - the fact is, each of us are probably being played just like him, and whatever we think we know about our true purpose or fate is most likely never revealed to us in this form of existence. I loved it !! Mitch, Australia.

I liked this film. It had enough mystery to keep us engaged. Although money was no longer discussed after he mustered up courage, I got the the impression that he didn't need to pay.

Rarely do short films hold just as much weight literally as they do metaphorically. This is flawless execution. Group C could be a metaphor for any group people run to for confidence and self esteem. Could be the corporate ladder, online groups, frats etc. but the film can also just be enjoyed at face value.

I think they threw him a curve ball ( with the money request) to test his new found confidence. And he faltered, until he didn’t. He passed the test. Life will always put challenges in our path, and we manage those tough times, but for those who lack self esteem/ confidence, they get stuck by the curve balls.
