These idols gave up their studies, went away from their family at a VERY young age, and trained for hours, days, weeks and years. They trained their whole life just to achieve their dream of becoming successful idols. Yet companies disband them, leave cause of health issues and leave because of mistreatment sometimes. Yet these idols still get hated, body-shamed and forgotten. And we can’t forget about the idols who have committed suicide because of unnecessary hate. This is why we must appreciate every idol and every group because they have worked so hard

Easier said than done. Money speaks, and while many people say how sad they are about x group's disbandment, it's very likely that the same people who complained did not buy any albums or support the group. It's IMPOSSIBLE to keep financially supporting a group and giving them a decent quality album when they can barely sell a few thousands of albums. It's very sad that idols have to go through disbandment and waste all their hard work, but you need to think logically of how a company works.

i was heartbroken when enoi disbanded january of this year. they debuted april 2019 and had so so much potential. they sold only 900 copies of their first comeback (which is honestly pretty good for the first group under a small, recently established company) but this increased to around 6000 for their second comeback (which was around eight months after the first mini album). to me that was such impressive growth!! their leader chose each member himself based on their talents and wrote and produced every single one of their songs since debut. they sadly disbanded bc their contract expired and i do think they were also affected by the pandemic. as devastated as i am since they were my ult of ults, three of the members, jinwoo (now kevin), junghoon and hyuk are debuting with omega x, so as the video stated pls support them!! they deserve to achieve their dreams and every single member has faced so many hardships and disappointments, i admire them for their strength to continue pursuing their dreams and they deserve major success

The Kpop market is oversaturated, it just can't sustain the sheer volume of groups that debut every year. That's why I almost never check out new artists, I know most of them will disband. And I can't support them myself, I don't have the money or the time. I have my own life and my own dreams to chase. So I continue to give my attention to the groups I already like because another big problem in Kpop is the quick turnover rate and I'd rather watch a few exceptional groups grow and mature in their career than feed the false hopes of every cute boy and girl who wants to be a global superstar. No matter how talented or attractive or funny an idol is, the only thing that really matters for their longevity as a band is that they release good songs, which is often outside of their control. Whether they produce their own music or not, hitting that sweet spot of being on trend but unique, catchy and memorable, is just so hard. And then there's also a lot of luck required. . . . It's also why I really dislike Produce 101 and the like, it gave a lot of attention to artists who were just going to end up in mediocre groups. Again, not that those groups aren't plenty talented. You might even like their songs. It's just that they aren't enough to get the attention of the public, so now there's way more groups with some popularity but none of them actually have enough to support them. I think Produce 101 made the oversaturation much worse now. It seems like even groups from big companies are struggling to stand out, at least compared to 2nd and 3rd gen. Not that I think you should only listen to BTS and Blackpink! For example I'm so into Pentagon right now because I love their songs to death and that makes me want to watch their reality shows and stuff to get to know the members and I really want them to succeed. They seem like the plucky underdogs who can never quite get first place and that makes me want to root for them harder, but when compared to the vast sea of groups that go unnoticed, they're actually pretty successful. Should you support a group just because they're famous? No. But you should pick groups that you really believe in, whose songs you love, that have actually proved themselves in the industry somehow and be there to cheer them on. And not fall for every baby group that just debuts. Obviously you can like new groups from small companies, but just be prepared to feel sad. But that's only my opinion and my guide to how to have fun as a Kpop fan and not cry too much. :D

Spectrum is my ult group and when the pandemic wouldn't have happened I know for a fact they would have become so big. They just let their past behind them and began to find their style as a group and what music they want to do. I'm glad these K Pop groups stayed as long as they can. Disband a group isn't easy. There people gave up ob their studies and sacrificed everything to be in the spotlight. Also their health. These groups would be great like BTS but they disbanded. That's sad. Lot of smaller K Pop groups are disbanding because of the pandemic and it's not good for the music company. You have to pay a price to become famous.

I'd been following Lee Han Gyul since his appearance on The Unit, and to see him go from IM, not making the final line up in UNB, surprising even himself and debuting in X1, then to have them disband, that hurt. At least now he's since debuted with BAE173 and hoping for the best with that group, although MBK's history is shaky as far as artist management. 1TEAM was probably an ult group for me, so seeing the news of their disbandment really stung.

No matter what, I would watch the video again and again, this key of what the story line could've been until the end. So sad that they had to disband so soon. Beyond 2 and 3rd generation underrated girl groups that I still listen to(Wassup, Stellar, Afterschool, Tara, 9muses, Ladies code, Dalshabet, Khan etc) some boygroups and krock bands under Idol Companies simply disappear without even giving a annoucement Like The Rose??? Where are they?

The rose got into a lawsuit with their company so all the members except Woosung are in the military right now.

Berry Good just disbanded :( Enoi is another one that recently disbanded way too early and of course History. They were so good.

X1 might have been the most famous of the groups in this video but I always felt like it was unfair they had to disband but IZ*ONE could continue (though they halted promotions for some time as well). Either force both to deal with the consequences of the producers' actions or none. I would've preferred if both had been able to go on because I doubt the idols were involved in the decision-making process. It just feels wrong to punish them.

I will never stop being disappointed about Pristin's disbandment. I LOVE Wee Woo, Get It, and their non-title tracks. The members have SO much charisma and excell at both cute and cool concepts. The group could have gone really far. (Plus, unlike a lot of groups, their name, their brand, was actually cool and original and didn't have "girl" in it.)

can we also talk about melodyday plss 🥺🥺 they had SO MUCH potential that they couldve been as big as Mamamoo. They had one of the strongest vocalists in the industry! (Winning the show king of the masked singer) and unique rappers. I really wish they had became "big" in the industry before their disbandtment 😔😔
