The only love this poor baby knew was from his brokenhearted foster mother. She tried so hard for him. His parents are despicable. I hope they suffer every single day for the rest of their time on Earth. And CFS needs to be held accountable as well. They took him from the only chance he had at life and sentenced him to a horrific death. My heart truly breaks.

Me too. Hope that Cps is held accountable and the woman who was on the case is fired. Obviously she was stupid to believe the husband wasnt still on drugs. Anytime one spouse is on meth the other is also. Parents who are positive for any drugs should have their infant taken for good. so this tragic horrific death of that baby dillon doenst ever happen again to any more babies brought in to this world

How did the meth get in his system at 3 months old??? She wasn't breast feeding
@nonmihiseddeo4181

@@amandagreene7481 You're not gonna see this, because YT doesn't let us see our notifications anymore, but where meth is used, it gets into the environment, such that people and even animals can come into contact with it unknowingly. CBS 8 in San Diego reported that in a suburb called Hillcrest, people are walking their dogs, and the dogs are being exposed to meth out on their walks. Veterinarians are reporting multiple dogs coming in with symptoms like vomiting, convulsions, involuntary leg jerking. The dogs are admitted to a pet hospital for diagnosis, IV support, and testing for liver toxicity. So, I think environmental exposure is how this poor baby got exposed to meth after his birth. His parents were using in the house, and Dylan simply breathed the air.

Baby Dylan would have flourished in her care. She's the only one who loved that baby and should have been allowed to adopt him instead of returning him to his vile, drug addicted, violent, so-called parents who tortured him to death. The foster mom's victim impact statement is heartbreaking, but beautiful.

The sick part is that everyone seen how this would play out & knew the drug use would continue down to the FOSTER MOM & she didn’t even know them personally . The thing that irritated me most about the defense was trying to make it seem as if she was acting that way simply because of labor pains. People with years of experience who have helped delivered probably thousands of babies would know if her behavior was abnormal. Everyone including the foster mom had the same conclusion about it

Worried about dogs and their junk getting stolen while Dylan was thrown away. The state gave that baby back to these fools when they shouldn’t of. The case manager kept texting and believing meth head excuses and did not lay eyes on him for a long time. Dylan was safe with his foster mother and he should of stayed in her care. Failure all the way round. His foster mother shed more tears for that baby after having him for 12 days then by those who conceived and gave birth to him.

@@maazanidesignco.529 Child Protective Services throughout our entire country is drastically underfunded, under managed and undermined. One huge important clog in it all that most people do not understand is the Judges. (I've worked with the system 2 decades) Judges who make terrible decisions. A Social Worker can bust their bum off making sure a child stays out of a bad home but we have Judges who don't care to even look at the documentation as "Reunification" looks a lot better on their resume or for that next election. So it's not just the social workers, it's the ENTIRE system and it falls on the social workers who really don't have as much control as you would think... It's all a mess.

There was a nurse here in Canada that was stealing drugs from her patients and it took her killing multiple patients to get caught. I'm not entirely sure but i think it has to do with converting storage, and how the quality of the picture decreases significantly when downloading the file because they have to download the entire file, which can hold up to hundreds of hours of footage and therefore a very large file. Does that make sense?

I LOVE Detective Conkel! She comments "Sneaky I guess." when testifying about using the interrogation tactic of telling one suspect that the other suspect has given up information regarding the situation. She's great and you can tell she despises both of the murderers. Edit: While this horrific case is in no way funny, I can't help laughing while watching the video of these idiots in the interrogation room. Seeing them both whispering to each other, "They told me that you told them he was dead." was too funny. Did they not think to be a tad bit more hush hush with their conversation?! I thought most people knew that there is both video and audio recording in interrogation rooms.

There was no LOVE for this innocent infant who came into the world by no choice. Beautiful child interfered with this couple's drug use and now he would be a threat seeing how the state would be in their lives for a unquestionable amount of time. So he became a problem for them and the anger was taken out on this poor innocence and eventually his life was taken. Take a good look at what Daniel looked like in that contained room big difference and listen to Jessica and her aggressive mouth and the main concern was for the DOGS. WHAT A DISGRACE I HAVE NO EMPATHY FOR EITHER OF THEM!!! The only way she got him to admit where this child was was by listening to their conversation otherwise who knows how long this poor baby would have stayed in that watery grave my God they didn't even bury the child gave him such a horrible grave chilling to think about it.

I'm just now seeing these videos, a year later. I kind of stumbled upon them while researching something else. I've spent an entire day watching and my heart is literally broken in pieces for this precious little boy. I took a break and went over to my son's just so I could hold my 16 month old grandson, just to feel his little body and give him a kiss, to tell him how loved he is. This case had to be hard on the prosecutors, the detectives and especially the witnesses who pulled this baby out of the well. I was on the jury of a kidnap/murder trial in the early 90s and everything I saw and heard that week are still with me as if it just happened. None of us can comprehend why, especially with drug addicted parents, this baby was given back to them and not placed into a loving forever home where he would be celebrating his 2nd birthday. Baby Dylan is in the arms of Jesus, a beautiful little angel 😇 and though nothing will ever bring him back, I'm happy to see justice served for this beautiful little boy. Fly high sweet baby 💙💙💙

the same thing happened to me. discovered this case online thru some random thing and now I'm watching all the trial coverage. Jessica's only genuine emotion was for herself. she's heartbroken about being caught & never being able to do drugs again. she's not actually heartbroken over what she did to that poor baby. it just breaks my heart. I have 2 boys... but always wished I could have more. I have serious health issues: my spine is fused from my shoulderblades to my pelvis, my pelvis & spine are screwed together, &I'm in constant pain. I don't know that i could successfully have another child... and it kills me every day. i would have cherished this little one. there are so many people out there who would have cherished him. i am grateful that Dylan is in a place where no harm can ever befall him again. he can finally have peace. he can finally be safe. but I'm sobbing as I type this because he deserved safety and love HERE and it kills me that he only knew love for a couple of weeks of his brief time on earth. God bless his foster mother. may Dylan's memory be a blessing and a comfort to his TRUE family--the woman who loved him & her family.

This Judge exemplifies what every Judge should strive to be. He is always courteous- patient. He keeps his composure throughout. I don't know how he does it. No telling what he must be feeling inside having to listen and watch this. This case is horrific. Baby Dylan should have never been placed in his father's physical custody. Huge failure by parents and Dept for Families and Children. Unfortunately our Social Workers are bombarded with huge cash loads. And the system is flawed. This is the result. The drug epidemic has amplified the burden of Social Services. But this problem needs to be fixed. Too many children dying at the hands of their parents. Truly sad. It could have been prevented. All the unanswered calls. Missed appts- failure to do what they were to do. Simple communication to the drug classes, his alleged employer, all should have prompted immediate removal. The older child was removed. The Foster mother cared for baby Dylan. No wonder the Social Worker doesn't want her face shown. Complete failure.
