Grow Broccoli Microgreens with Cococoir at Home: Easy guide

🌱 In this video "Grow Broccoli Microgreens with Cococoir at Home: Easy guide", we share with you how we grow Brocccoli Microgreens using our 7x14 white tray kit with Cococoir as the grow medium choice, instead of the silicone reusable grow medium that the kit comes with! Since not everyone may want to use reusable mediums, we thought it be good to show you that you can still use Cococoir and/or soil with this tray to grow beautiful microgreens!
We utilized our home-grow rack (build video coming soon) to grow these microgreens to harvest! And are very satisfied with the amount this single tray produced for us!

Your sprouts look amazing. I noticed that you didn't put the seeds in blackout. Also, my broccoli microgreens have a rather strong smell to them. Is that bad or dangerous? Thanks 😊

Thank you! With this kit, whenever you do "blackout" its the humidity dome. You get the same effect thanks to the humidity & heat within the dome. It really depends on what type of smell, if its foul or off putting, I would start over. You may be over-watering or over seeding. However, its its just a nice eggy smell, then its likely just broccoli microgreens being broccoli microgreens and you should be fine. I'd still use your better judgement though.

1) we like to switch things up from time to time. Gets a bit boring doing the same thing. 2) we no longer have that space as of nearly 2 years ago, which we announced on social media. We sold it to invest further into our business so that we could continue it and continue helping people learn . Hoping in the very near future to get another one 🌱

do you empty the water in bottom of the tray at all? I thought it might cause mold if left sitting all the time.

Yes, we do. It's common practice to refresh the water every 2 to 3 days during the entire process.
