Amazing content as usuall, you'r absolutely killing it! Alot of my transformation was because of your help, and your videos have been great for beginners. Just wanted to ask though, do you have anything for the lower traps? I just know that strong lower traps are good for posture, so i wanted to ask. Anyway, love your channel, keep up the good work!
@DavisDiley
@DavisDiley 2 жыл бұрын
Honestly, most these exercises are phenomenal for the lower traps - do these ESPECIALLY the face pulls - I would also include cable or band external rotations as well. Other than that you really need to develop the habit of standing up straighter if you want to fix you posture. I had to myself back in the day. It was probably 75% habit for me and 25% exercises. It’s weird feeling at first but try actually LOOKING UP in front of you when you walk. Not down at the floor. Also, imagine you have a hook under your sternum - pulling your chest up to the ceiling with relaxed shoulders. You’ll have to catch yourself 1000 times a day. But eventually it’ll become normal

Does anyone else not into weight lifting get absolutely blown away by the complexity of it all? I lost 6 stone because I was fat. I literally just ran. I didn't need to think about anything. I ran yesterday, I'll run today and I'm gonna run tomorrow. As long as I get better, the results will happen. Using the body building logic I'd have to think about micronutrients, speed, sets, supplements, repetition days on, days off. 🤯🤯🤯

I like ("adore") the intricate multi-dimensional breakdown & approach (i e. 'comprehensive aspects') of these analytical analyses ["analyses" serves as "a set" of varied analytic metrics]. For instance, 1) The 'highlighting [graphical, via color] of the muscle group(s) affected, or impacted; 2) The 'mindset', or 'vision' of mental comprehension whilst in the motion [as in 'meditative' focus] Along with, of course, most of the other varied metrics anticipated. 💪 👍 👏 👌 Rather informative & 'helpful', IMP (to my perspective). Articulative communication and conveyance, translate to "Oh, ... I can 'use that', thanks!" 😉

If you want to hit the lower traps, which will help fill in the upper back. either grab a plate, and lift it up with your arms straight out, and your thumbs should be pointing up once you are straight overhead. or, when doing the facepulls, just lift your arms up for a second, when you've completed the pull, and bring it back down, repeat.
