I feel the same as you when I plant has issues. I realize that you fertilize with miracle grow but your pot either needs to be bigger or possibly cut back the plant to perhaps half size. Cutting back to much might hurt any fruit growth.

I think it'll take off with the latest transplant but hit a wall in 2024 as such a fast-growing tree really needs to be in the ground. But I think the additional mass of coco coir should get me a small crop of beans.

Hi Melvin, How’s your ice cream bean tree doing ? Any fruit ?

I will post an update soon.

Looks like that you might be getting to the point where you need to trim and let it grow out to get your seed pods. Also, I have to say that those flowers look super untypical for a member of the fabaceae. They remind me of the flowers of a money tree (pachira aquatica, also known as malabar chestnut). Well the fabaceae is a very big plant family, so there will be lots of diversity.

I'll see what happens with the first 3 bean pods. The first crop tends to suck for most of my fruit trees. The flowers look more like sundews than proper flowers.

Mimosa (also fabaceae) have similar flowers, but purple!
