Nice job getting it to fruit! I’ve had mine for almost 3 years now and still no flowers or fruit yet, I am hoping that mine fruit hopefully within 2 years from now.

@@TheMelvinWei I doubt it’s impossible for it to fruit here I will try and get it to fruit but it might just take longer then it did with yours.

I read that Inga's seeds can be cooked like beans, but I don't know if it is for every species of the genus Inga.

They can? They look and feel really unappetizing though. But I would boil or stir fry them in a survival situation. Mine already sprouted from sitting in the pods for 6 months.

@@TheMelvinWei I never tried to eat Inga's seed, so take my previous statement with caution (do not poison yourself over the random comment of a dude on the internet). I dont know if what I readed applied for all specie of the genus or just some of them, and I don't know if you still can consume them cooked after germination either. Also, they are definitely inedible raw. Either way I guess that the seeds should be more energy dense than the arils of this fruit (in survival situation). You can see it has a giant bean tree with arils has a bonus.

Bud. This tree has deep roots. Slap it in the ground or a 36 inch box..or it will be root bound by next year..

I just had my second harvest and will likely end the series. This tree grows too fast to continue past this point.

Any dirt I pile on would just wash away because it's so far above the rim of the planter. There's no room.
