i hear you when you say you feel like being a content creator feels trivial a lot of the time. i want to let you know that i have appreciated your content so so much. i've been following you and listening to your podcast since 2022, i am 25 trying to figure out life things while moving through intense grief. your content has not only taught me a lot in terms of wellness, policy etc. you have a way of explaining certain concepts that feel conversational and accessible. there have also been so many parallels between our struggles and it makes me feel less like i am on an island. tldr please know there is value in what you are doing. you have helped me feel so much less alienated (not in a parasocial way i promise lol)

also: would you ever consider a podcast (solo or not) that isn't necessarily centered around wellness? maybe like a mix of different topics also also: would recommend keelin moncrieff's content. she has helped me in similar ways and you might enjoy her stuff too! she has talked a lot about being a content creator in the uk, financial struggles, mental health, etc

Hey!! You’re doing so well, what a big life change, so glad you love it here. You could try and reach out to some sort of influencer agency to support you whilst you transition, or there is plenty of part time work if really needed (I worked in a cafe for a few weeks as I’m a creative and needed some funds whilst things built up again). Never be embarrassed to reach out or ask for advice, everyone in London is in it together :) a big family! And we’re way more friendly than people say❤ you should visit Brighton it’s beautiful near Christmas, great quirky vintage clothes!!

There are also many organisations here that can help with finance or grief counselling if you should need. NHS talking therapy is amazing if you feel you should ever need it , can be over the phone or in person you can go through the GP - all a personal choice and journey but really helped me, keep being authentic you’re killing it xx

hi kate! so i’m american and lived in the UK for years and had the bank account/phone issue as well! the way around it is you need to go and buy a prepaid burner SIM card from tesco. they’re like 15 pounds. you’ll get a phone number through there that you’ll have for like 30 days! during that time you can go and set up a bank account and then get a phone number!

using these SIMS will also save you a LOT of money as you won’t have to turn your american data on everyday! adjusting after the move can be way harder than people think and i’m wishing you all the best!!

Hey ❤ love your videos! Brand outreach idea...go to a health store and a running store and familiarise yourself with the brands stocked and sold in London/UK! Then maybe reach out to the brands and products that intruige you xx
