I grew up in Regent Park (1960 - 1977) so I can relate to a lot of the pictures you showed; many people do not realize that before all the gangs, drugs and violence, Regent Park during the 50s, 60s and 70s was a great place for people to start a family, so many loving people and great kids that played and grew up together; and RP was situated in the heart of downtown, everything within walking distance, I know cause I was there. Cecile B., you really nailed it on this video, also enjoyed your vocal and guitar on the song, I also play guitar, very well done.

Regent Park will always be part of my life. My Grandmother moved there when I was born in April of 1974. She stayed the for 14 years. I would visit her every weekend. I'll never forget the great times we had together. Everything from breakfasts to Christmas. RIP Nana.

@@cEcJr17 I was there from 83-93’ During my teen years. If I remember correctly, my house number was 103 or something. It was on the ground level close to the skating rink. I still remembered some idiots slamming hockey pucks late into the night. Lol

Thanks Cecile... this sure brings some memories rushing back. Both good and bad. I sure hope all is well with you and your family. Say hi to Tersa for me, years ago when my mom was alive she told me she now had 4 children.
