I got about 50 red papaya seedling inside right now I got all the biggest and healthiest seedlings in one of my grow tents with some gelato and nycd babies. I found out papaya farmers soak their seeds in diluted potassium nitrate for A couple hours and I did half and half to experiment all the seeds I soaked in the mixture popped tails two to three days later and all the seeds I just soaked in water and planted took a whole nother month before they sprouted tails.

Most tropical plant are drought activated because the tropics have a dry season. Once you let the seeds dry in the sun for a couple days they will sprout in about 3 days as well

@@arthurlouis8326 Hey thank you I will try this I read somewhere that you shouldn’t let papaya seed dry out, but that’s what I’ll do next time.

As someone from a tropical asian country who had grown 10 papayas and other fruits I am proud of Jessie for growing papaya in Canada. Someone from my country who is an agriculturist successfully grown apples too but in the mountains with 18-22 degrees celcius temperature at the foot of the mountain.

So a reel of yours came up on my feed because I'm a plant person, but I clicked thought to your channel because I was curious if I could guess where you're from based on your accent. And lemme tell you, Canada was not my guess. 😂 Very cool video! That was a lot of effort.

Istg we have 4 stray papaya trees growing in our backyard. It may be the birds ofc, but still pretty surprised. They're already maybe 3ft tall, we're kinda unsure if moving them to a more wider spot will stunt it's growth, coz they're sitting right beside our concrete fence. Tbh we wanna have the fruits even if we didn't plant them.😅

Nature is the best gardener! You could try moving one or two, that way you can see which grow better staying put or being moved. I'm no tree expert though :)

Green papaya is eaten by cooking. We use them as a sort of vegetable. Kind of like chayote. Slice it up in a stirfry or boil it in chicken ginger soup.

just give an advice, don't grow the papaya tree close to wall or any building, that can broke or ruin it. because papaya root is strong. especially don't grow it to close to your neigbor, if u don't want any problem 😂
