The real challenge is what happens after your "mission" was completed. Do you land at a NATO base and face interrogation, a mock trial, and possible execution, or do you attempt to land at an enemy base, only to face interrogation, a mock trial, and possible execution? An unenviable fate no matter what you choose there.

Landing at an enemy base after destroying lots of NATO assets and delivering them an intact F-22? He'd most likely be celebrated, like the guy who defected to Japan with a Mig-25. We don't know who the enemy's supposed to be, but they'll be looking to encourage more of that, not punish it. The challenge would be getting to the enemy base without being shot, since they don't know what he's up to, but an F-22 has a good chance of sneaking in.

Every time GS sneaks up on a target with the F-22, I hear the Pink Panther song in my head. Had the pleasure to speak with Pilots that transitioned from the F-16 to the F-35. Every pilot stated that if the F-35 and F-16 was in a gun v gun dog fight (not using missiles) the F-16 has a better turning radius and would outgun the F-35. When asked if the F-35 or F-22 would win, 90% say the F-22 would always win if it was gun v gun or missile v missile.

For stealth maybe but very limited in capacity. That's why most air forces rather stick to regular fighter jets. Or modernize the F-15 for example, you can deal a lot more damage if you carry more missiles. And for interception you don't need stealth anyway because the enemy assumes you to be out there.

From what I understand every F-35 carries 4 towed decoys, so you'd need 5 missiles for 1 F-35. And also I think the Super Raptor is now a thing, so F-22s will have EOTS and all the modern goodies.

I suspect all the sneaky real world capabilities of Fat Amy have not been declassified enough to be more accurately modelled in DCS. The same with the F-15EX.
