Yeah, this is why lots of favorite smells are due to the memories linked to it For example: one of my favorite smells is cornbread, because sometimes after school I wound open the door of my house and the warm scent of freshly-pulled-outa-the-oven cornbread would just hit me. It was one of the few times I'd actually be able to have some nice food and peace at the time, so cornbread to me is an almost calming smell (I'm guessing this is also why people smell their crushes/partner's clothing)

@@phoenixwing5133 I wouldn't really count on it... but then again from what I remember hearing, music can (temporarily) help alhtzheimerz patients remember some parts of their past (like what happened in Coco) I could also be wrong, but I've heard that music, and maybe even singing, is stored in a different part of the brain than just normal speaking Still I hope you have an easy time researching and stuff!

Yeah, the dude was (supposedly) poisoned, shot multiple times, thrown into the river, and when his drowned body washed up on shore, they burned it, but his body allegedly sat up in the flames (likely the result of extreme heat on his ligaments, if true at all. Rasputin had a daughter who called B.S. on this account of his death).

You know how Anya hit Demetri on the train? I honestly would not be surprised at all if she had to break a few noses in order to keep her precious necklace while living in the orphanage. Children can be savage little buggers and the caretakers did not seem like kind people either. Though in communist Russia, I can't fault them for being cranky. This is a fantastic case of "Show don't tell." says I.

20:11 Welchy the film of Anastasia is based on an urban myth about Anastasia “survived” her family massacre. The film became a financial hit for Don Bulth and Gary Goldman but while the rest of their films (excluding The Land Before Time) became one financial failure after another. About the guy known as Don Bluth used to work for Disney as a background animator and the quit on his birthday and create his own studio and being competitive towards Disney.

Dont forget it mashes together the story of Rasputin with the Story of Anastasia….Rasputin was real & had ties to Anastasia family as a “healer” her mother had to come try and treat her sick son…..Only for the rumors to start that the Tsarina was doinking Rasputin so Royal Loyalists who felt he was to close to the crown & had sway over the Tsar killed him

I love this movie. Random fact that picture that Anastasia gave her grandmother in the beginning of the film is actually an actual drawing she drew for her grandmother in real life. And the people that were in that dream scene I’m pretty sure that was her little brother & sisters & dad. But when I found out that it’s based off the real story I was like “that’s so sad but the movie is really really good. Just wish that the real life story didn’t have a sad ending but wish it ended with a happy one. Also I’m pretty sure the dog represents or symbolizes (or whatever the word I’m looking for is) is the dog that used to be her sister Maria’s dog but during their quarantine/lockdown the pup became more of Anastasia pup. If I remember correctly I read that in one of the books about their family and what actually happened. Also the live action is also really really good. Definitely recommend the live action Anastasia:once upon time. (It’s not a musical but it has music in it.) Love your videos!

1. The smell of peppermint memory is alluding to the fact that smell is actually the closest sense to our memories and therefore is the easiest trigger to remember things. 2. The photo that Anastasia has where she mentions her sister saying it looked like a pig riding a donkey is not only an actual drawing the REAL Anastasia drew but that story is also true as well so when you mentioned the picture 'Is shit' I laughed so hard because I could just imagine the look on this real little girl who drew that hearing you say that to her face. XD This poor dead girl getting so much slander. 3. "That thing gets a Happy Ending?" He gets his own movie, too. XD A movie that is actually really good if you can forget that there is any connection to Anastasia.

Though he had no official office in the Russian Orthodox Church, nor was he tonsured as a monk, there is plenty of evidence that Rasputin was a holy man. Though unofficial, he was an ascetic and a mystic. There are even some efforts today to have him canonized as a saint, considering he was dearly loved and relied upon by the Royal Family, who are canonized saints (martyrs). Though I still enjoy it for what it is, this movie certainly did him dirty.

Just for your information, the film is actually based on the case of the Zar family of Russia. Until 2007, it was assumed that Anastasia was still alive. But then their bodies were found. Rasputin was some kind of advisor/doctor to the Zar for his sick son Alexei, if I'm right. It's been a while since I googled that.

Such a wonderful movie, beautiful songs and when she meets her elegant grandmother! And aft the beginning:’And my granddaughter Anastasia? I never saw her again!’ And her dad, mom, sisters and brother coming out of the painting during the ‘Once upon a..’ song!

I really loved this movie. Not because I have the same name but because it’s just so beautifully mad. The soundtrack is amazing. Even though it’s not 100% historically accurate, that doesn’t matter
