Now this is the Zerg Swarm, not in Starcraft 2 where almost all of the time its like a big ball of units. In here everything was coming in from all sides like a true menace.

Yeah I don't know how Grubby micros and does all the production management at the same time. For veteran RTS players probably normal things but looks very impressive to me.

You've clearly never seen a pro-level first-person video. StarCraft Remastered might be the coolest thing to watch of any watchable competitive events. I hope that some channels with well-commented pro-level games will pop up.

Not to knock good ol Grubby, this was really fun to watch and I'm sure to play, but he's pretty noob at the game. Checkout some FPVODs of the top Korean pros (I just watched a BIsu FPVOD on Home of Starcraft channel) and they're like 3 times faster, not even kidding.

The sound design is SO much better in SC than in SC2. Love those zerg sounds. Everything is so much blander in SC2 :(

Using patrol is faster than attack. That's why I do with mutas/ vultures.

zergs need the highest apm to master, most pro zergs are over 300. Grubby got to work on his speed, but most people limit out at 200 and it takes some gifts to go faster

I usually make the first Ovie @ 6/9. The overlord spawn timing is perfectly in-line with larva spawns and you have no supply block or too many surplus minerals.

Jeah it is. Especially TvZ is much better in Starcraft I. Basically in Starcraft II, the Terran Base never get's touched, while Terran has all the Harrassment options layed out for him. Zerg only defends until they macro up to explode. This here is much more interesting ^^

duuude, this shit! it makes my legs hurt of stress only from watching also, wouldn't it have been better to take the center of the map and fortifiy there?? it would have made the terran SO vulnerable to spreaded out lurkers and balls of lings

The middle of the map is extremely vulnerable to attack, and making defenses is not a good way to play this game, this is why Grubby spread out his bases, so it will be harder for the enemy to pound with the slow moving Siege Tanks.

Do you still have to click on peons to make them get gold ? Or they take gold automatically ? It was so boring in Starcraft 1, to have to click on peon every time to make them take gold

I mean if you are refering to the workers that gather minerals and vespene gas (drone in the Zerg case) yes, you have to manually command them after they spawn

Zerg has the least amount of OP. Like, train a drone then build a building in a creep. Lost a larva and drone afterwards. Lol. Meanwhile, toss build multiple buildings with single probe and terran can build anywhere with sturdy SCVs.

Yeah, looking at a game of what a single worker can do (not the way it's produced from larvae , comcenter/nexus or which aoe units/spellcasters a race has) is the way to determine ''OP'' or balance.

Hehe, strafing around things with mutas like in SC2 still doesn't work, I see... So, basically, this is just literally the same game with a wider view and higher-resolution (not improved beyond that) graphics...sounds the same, acts the same, everything else in-game is the same...? I'm sure the menus work a little better, but still...$15 seems a high price tag for those of us that own the original. Feels like it should be free or

Feels like $15 is a fairly reasonable price,. The graphics does look much cleaner and crisper as an HD remaster should. Audio also got re-recorded apparently

Yeah, still the same game, u can even press F5 and will insta' switch to it's older version. What's the point to make it diffrent, there is SC2 for it. 15$ is good price for game from my childhood even with my pity salary... :-) anyway it's all personal for everyone with this game

Developers said it was a very deliberate choice. They wanted the game to stay the same with the original quirks. The unit pathing is also really terrible like in the original game ^^
