Grungefest | The 90s Are Alive At House Of Blues Orlando

We head to House of Blues Orlando at Disney Springs to attend a night of 90s grunge, including Nirvanna (Nirvana), Alive Again (Pearl Jam), and In A Nutshell (Alice In Chains). Awesome night of music and reliving a great time period for music.

Nirvanna dose a great cover band! it looked as packed as it was last November for Mammoth! Totally!

The "Pat Smear" appearance during the Nirvana tribute was much appreciated.

For as many times as I've been to Orlando I've never been to a concert at HOB. Just hasn't worked out that we'd be in town at the same time as something worthwhile. Hopefully someday, then it will have to live up to ours in Myrtle Beach!

I'd agree that Nirvana should headline since the other 2 bands still exist. Pearl Jam is still releasing new music.

The new Pearl Jam is really good too. I was hoping that the cover band would have played more of a mix of their catalog.

The AIC band was pretty good, but they didn’t mention them in the advertising or promotion.

The Alice in Chains set needs a little work, but the Nirvana and Pearl Jam sets were better. I actually saw a Pearl Jam tribute on some audio engineer's channel livestreaming from a venue in NJ yesterday. That band was pretty decent, too.

The singer from the Pearl Jam band sounded pretty spot on. I was impressed.

It would be too short of a set. :) In all seriousness, the last time I saw Candlebox a few years back, they were playing for free on Orange Avenue in Orlando as part of the Florida Music Fest.
