I live in oregon, and i used to work out at cape kiwanda. I actually took my son out to see that rock 1 week before those assholes knocked it down. I spent a lot of my younger days down at cape kiwanda, and that rock was always there. I am so sad that they knocked it down and wish i could get a hold of those assholes so i could kick the shit out of them for doing that. Here is a note to all parents, teach your kids to respect their environment, not destroy it. My son and i enjoy taking fishing trips and one thing i taught him is to always take more garbage back with you than you brought out to the river, there is never any shortage of other ppls garbage, empty worm containers, empty beer/soda cans, or just the random odd ball of fishing line.

Who Cares They need to teach thier kids respect in general and many parents need a refresher course as well. I remember working retail and watching as a kid, who was picking out a toy, was literally throwing the toys he didn't want on the floor (he was about 10 years old) as his mom stood behind him quietly. It wasn't until she saw me walking towards them that she grabbed her kid and said "You shouldn't throw things on the floor." and started putting stuff back on the shelves. When I came back a couple minutes later, the mother and child were gone but the mess was exactly where she left it. What those scout leaders claim they wanted to prevent by pushing over those rock formations, me and my friends wanted to do to guests, but with heavy overstock items.

if you live long enough to see humans fighting for the basics ...you will see true human nature at its core! I raised mice and rats as feeders in college. I used it for my sociology papers on population. animals react one way on lack of sleep, another on lack of food, and totally unpredictable for lack of water. That was the days before recording was affordable. I had to watch all of it and it is nasty! I watched young gang up on old and babies killed for a drink. In six months they would bit the hand that feeds them, mine. Only bite once while raising them. Bite many times during the experiment.
