That is such a beautiful foundation on you, Tammy! Thank you for your concern and understanding about what we Texans went through! I was lucky enough not to lose power, but so many went days without it and without running water! My biggest challenge was trying to take care of the cattle with no grazing and frozen water troughs! I loved how everyone pitched in to help each other here!

I've lived here for over 20 years and the way you make sure they don't procreate is by turning all your plant pots upside down and if there are areas where water gathers pour cheap beer in the puddles. No more toads within 2yrs. Also citronella plants and lavender keep bugs and mosquitoes away, the frogs/toads are attracted to insects. If you want your lights on your property to look great at night plant these plants and you will enjoy your outdoor decor. They travel during the night into your yard. Put trellises in front of these plants making sure your pets won't have access. No insects. The foundation is awesome and your videos are so nice to watch and you never disappoint. Your tutorial and suggestions are always on point. You look lovely thank you for sharing Shalom.

Hello Tammy, similar to you I have not used Clinique products in my years (so long ago that they didn’t utilize a numbering system for foundation colors). Their foundation looks great on you! I am definitely going to try Clinique again. LOL that frog extermination story was cool. Congratulations to the new winner!

In Plano, TX...doing great. We never lost power or water, and became the refuge for all the other family members for the week. We get ice storms and snow storms from time to time...however, it was the entire state of TX that was in a deep freeze that was unusual and the extremely low temps for extended days. We experienced -18 real feel. Weather in TX changes quickly, that is why ice and snow from past years does not last and doesn’t have the effect we had this time. I have never, in 61 years, seen every county in TX affected at the same time. Texas is the size of the majority of the EU countries in territory. Everyone I know and work with has or is recovering well. Thank you, Lord! 😃

Ladies I’m in the woodlands and it was trying. we were out of electricity off and on for 4 days. No water and the worst part was you couldn’t drive anywhere. Surrounded by bridges. We are lucky though wood burning fireplace got us through and now we are fine. Glad to see so many Texas Ladies on here!

I live close by San Antonio in the hill country, I’m 67 and have never seen anything like this. Lost power for 3 days and water for 6 days, it was sooo cold. Thankfully we had enough water and food to drink and when we got power back we were melting snow to flush toilets, just the two of us and our furbaby. We have an enclosed outdoor courtyard so hubby took everything out of our freezers and put them in ice chests and put them out in the snow, it kept everything frozen. Used outdoor bbq pit to heat water for coffee. So blessed we had no busted water pipes.

I live in New Braunfels, Texas and it is in the 70’s today. The worst part about the snow was the electricity rolling, but we do have a wood stove and wood so we were fine there. However we live in an all electric house so fixing anything to eat was a real different chore. I have lived in places where you get snow and ice and you are right they are ready. I have also lived in Florida 2 times and I had never heard about these frogs, but there was a pond behind our house and when I hung up clothes there was a gator that always made a sound, but I was OK as long as it stayed in the pond. I love Nordstrom because of their customer service and they have great products. Love this foundation but I am waiting to hear how well it wears. Thanks 😊

When I was a teenager my aunt used to buy Clinique products and they we're pretty good but as an adult I haven't bought too much from them. I have to say that is a spot on foundation match for you! The lip is a beautiful color. Also I absolutely love the earrings!

Beautiful foundation! Looks great on video so I suspect it’s even better in person. I need a new one for summer. I grew up with Cliniques continuous coverage and used all their products. I think I only own one eyeshadow now. Hmmm, I need to revisit the Cinique counter. I’ve never heard of those killer frogs. Yikes! My dogs stress with squirrels. I know one day they will catch one and it will be a mess. I totally relate to announcing the dogs to the bunnies. I’ve been know to cover bunny nests with garbage pails while the dogs are out and lawn chairs during the day to spare them from the Hawks. Gotta stay on your toes. Never ending adventure with dogs. Beautiful look! Love the yellow!

Hi Tammy, I live in south East Florida, there are companies that here will come and guards around your yard and fencing to keep the roads out. It’s not cheap but it works, they also come look for them and stay on top of keeping them out. The company here my friend used was Toad Busters. He has a big yard and four goldens. He says the company works.

Thank you Tammy for mentioning about Texas and the horrible storm. Their are people still without running water. We were so fortunate only lost power over night. We had a big fire in the fireplace and the doggies and I slept in the family room. Your makeup is lovely as always.

I absolutely love the mascara on your lashes, I think this is the best they have looked. I would love it if you one time would put just the tiniest bit of mascara on your bottom lashes. I think adding mascara on the bottom lashes opens your eyes up. Also the lipsticks look fantastic on you. Great shades for your coloring.

I have that foundation as well. I think it may have caused me to break out...still not sure. I love the Ko Gen Do Aqua foundation more; but, Clinique has a much better price point. Thank you for asking about us here in Texas. I was in Cedar Park , Texas and we lost water for 2 days. It was awful. We had drinking water so all we had to do was shovel snow in a bucket melt it and wash dishes with it. Oh and flush toilets with melted snow. Yuck!! But grateful we never lost power. Now the weather is wonderful not too hot or too cold.

My husband wants to move to Florida so badly but snakes,lizards,toads,alligators ,mosquitoes,humidity and hurricanes are a turn off. We have been to Florida many times and experienced everything Florida has to offer. I know many people who retire to Florida but after awhile have purchased second homes in the mountains of North Carolina. They spend winters in Florida and summers in the cool North Carolina mountains.

We live in Northwest Florida and my golden found one of those freak toads and it made him so sick. He spent several days in doggie ICU and thankfully recovered. God bless Lou for respecting our animal friends, but another toad in my yard is a dead toad and he wont be sitting in my freezer. Make sure you have no sago palms as well. Those sago seeds from the females are deadly. Great makeup look today!

I feel exactly the same way as you do about my dogs. I’m gonna protect them!! One day our little Trixie was outside and we have a fenced in back yard, and she was barking like crazy!!! Well she is a mini dachshund not big at all, but me and my husband went outside and there was a big snake curled up with his head ready to bite!! I grabbed Trixie girl and my husband grabbed the shovel and off with the snakes head!! We don’t make it a habit to go around killing anything normally, but when it comes to my fur babies, I’m gonna take care of them!! Great video ❤️❤️

Hi Tammy, Thank you for inquiring about us Texans. I’m from the far north Dallas area and I was without power for a few hours Sunday Valentine’s Day evening. The next day (Monday) was when the rolling blackouts stated because the entire state was in a deep freeze which affected the entire power grid. The longest time period that I went without power/heat is 12 hours. The lowest temp in the house was 50 degrees. That Wednesday was much better. The period of time without power was much shorter than the day before, but still intermittent. By Thursday, things were much better only a few short blackouts. I was very lucky that I never lost water or had any pipes break. Note to self, I will be looking at getting a whole house generator and possibly a wood burning stove. Also, my horse is currently with my best friend at her farm. She never lost power or water. She got more snow than ice, which the horse wanted to go out and play in. They were all dressed for the weather and in the barn. They only issue was to keep the water in the barn from freezing. Thank you for another great video. I’m so glad that your dog did not get that frog. As pet owners, we will do anything to keep our fur babies safe and healthy.

OMG, Cane frogs, lol. My lovely neighbor in Florida raced up to me 🧐(last year) and told me to be careful about Cane frogs....what, a frog can kill my 14lb pup! Well, I did some research and they are nasty. So now we watch out for bears, cane frogs, gators and goodness knows what else. Love the Florida lifestyle. Watch those doodles carefully.

LOL! CRT! No deadly cane frog in my freezer either! Yikes! We had crazy week of weather here in Texas. We mostly have recovered. But so upset that some apartment complexes still without water. Should never happen! Normally never this bad and we are normally prepared too. But for some reason the roads weren't salted so the 37 car pile up the day before with black ice. So sad! Love the beautiful new foundation. Gorgeous as ever! You have two powders for one face, I have way too many foundations, but tend to stick with the La Mer. So expensive, but I stock up during sales. Still, should maybe try this one. Love the hippies! Definitely will get those. Only two lips here, but have way too many of those too. Can you do a makeup and skin care storage video? I'm ready to build in more storage. Probably need to cull out a lot of lipsticks and foundations. Hard for me!

Who wants a toxic frog in their freezer??? We had a similar type frog in Tucson that hung around my back patio for several days. It hid during the day but came out and peered in my sliding glass door at night!!! I had two small dogs and it was so scary!! Finally, it went away but I stayed in caution mode for a good while!!!

oh heck no not in my freezer I'd double bag it and in the trash it goes no sympathy from me! It's a treat for me having snow, but this time it stayed longer then it should have. our weather can change so quickly like fall to summer. I'm from central Tx. power didn't go out on us low water pressure and no hot water. a lot of folks without power. I'm sure things got back normal by now ( I think ) . I went and scooped a pitcher of snow and enjoyed eating it lol, like a snow cone. ( of course it was clean where I scooped it up ). love the color of the lipstick! take care and be safe

I was laughing at Lou going out to make noise to scare the bunnies away! That is my life every day with Molly! Killing the frog - I’d be all over it! Go after my dogs,I think not! Whoever or whatever goes after my dogs better have a body bag! My husband just went out and got a pizza from a couple that moved here from New York. Excited to try it! Getting a good pizza here in Montana has so far been impossible, I usually just make it, so we’ll see. Love that look on you! The lip balm is amazing. Things finally back to normal for our families here in Texas, except crazy electric bills. But not us. We prepared as you said. This isn't our 1st rodeo in life. Lol! We used propane in 1 of our 2 fireplaces. And we cook with gas as well. My husband built our home with an over abundance of insulation, made a difference. We went to grocery store 2x b4 storm hit. We knew it was coming.

Hi Tammy (CMT lol), I did get a couple of new makeup items in February - I finally tried the hourglass ambient lighting powder in ethereal light (really pretty on the perimeter of the face and lightly under the eye), as well as the canmake powder in lavender (blurs pores and is brightening on my very pale/cool toned skin). This month I've ordered a new shade of the Daniel Sandler watercolour blush (my long time favourite formula) in so pretty. I have angel and cherub I've used for a long time, but the so pretty is slightly deeper and a cooler toned pink. I picked up the new maybelline mascara (sky high) whilst grocery shopping and I do like it so far. I like a lengthening/defining mascara wand that isn't too fat or huge. This mascara has a slim wand and it's really easy to use on my smaller eye shape. I get mascara everywhere when it's a big fat/big hourglass brush, so they're not my preference. I think mixing in a little fashion into videos will be appreciated by many people. You always look well groomed and seem to dress in a flattering/classy way. My own personal taste is a little more bohemian, but I also like some classic pieces when they're good quality and never really date. I haven't bought any clothing items since last Summer. We're still in lockdown in Scotland (as well as the rest of the UK), so i'm only wearing comfortable older clothing or loungewear tbh. I have a mass of clothes I have no opportunity to wear at the moment, so there's no point buying anything "nice". Maybe in the Summer. I'm glad to live somewhere without "gators" or very large toads/frogs, nor would I be putting it in the freezer - yuck. Best wishes.

We are fine here in South Texas now, but our house is pier and beam and we are 66-67 years old and were freezing , no back up heat, no electric for 4-5 days. My daughter came and got us to go to our ex-son-in-laws, his house is on a slab with carpet and was without power but much warmer than our house. He grilled for us all each day we all stuck together and made it through. I lived in Germany for 3 years, 40 years ago and you are very prepared, here in South-Texas you are not, we will be getting a small generator also, thanks for asking about us all, our small town, the entire town had no power for 4-5 days.

Hi just subscribed. I moved to Florida and my part Yorkie terrier munched one of those frogs I grabbed the hose stuck it in his mouth and kept rinsing it out. It still kind of paralyzed him!!! Rushed him to the Vet he gave him a shot it took my dog days to recover!!!! He said my dog wouldn't have survived if I hadn't rinsed his mouth right away. I now live in the Midwest 🌺

Love love your chit chat! I live live the high mountains of AZ our temp. is in the seventies and we do get cold. Our humanity is about 1 to 3 %. We have a Colorado River toad and is very is very toxic to dogs. Fortunately our yard is critter free. Nothing can into our yard. I lived in upstate NY Auburn ( in the finger lake area) and wow I would never ever live there again. I am going to Clinique this week and buy the new foundation. Thanks for the review.

In northern Australia we have the same cane ‘frogs’ but we call them cane ‘toads’ and they are a declared pest here too. Calling them frogs is too kind. I love the cute green frogs but cane toads are disgusting and not cute at all.We knock them out with a good whack of the shovel then put them in a thick plastic bag and put them in the freezer. Spraying them with Dettol will kill them too. They only need to be in the freezer until bin day. We have an outside freezer we use. We don’t get many here (Darwin) but northern Queensland is overrun with the awful things.

The makeup foundation looks awesome! I may just try it. I have been really into foundations lately. I’ve tried the new bareMinerals foundation, you might want to try out. It seems a little dry, but The new Lancome with SPF I used was too creamy, for daytime I usually just go with the Clarins moisturizer SPF 50 with tint. It really seems like a foundation than just a tint. I think I am the same color foundation as you. Btw, The necklace is sold out already! :) but there are similar ones From Kendra Scott. I’m from upstate New York and know what you are talking about regarding the weather. Just the difference in snowstorms between Syracuse and Ithaca can be major! Now we are in Dallas, Texas and went through the storm. It snowed but the temps were just extremely frigid. Luckily we didn’t lose power and we have vacation rentals on our property but other neighbors lost power. They lit a fire in the fireplace but it only changed the temperature in their house a couple of degrees higher because they have vaulted ceilings. I know everybody wants vaulted ceiling nowadays, but it’s something to keep in mind that your fireplace will be probably be decorative only not so much for warmth If there are vaulted ceiling’s in that room!

Hi Tammy, I feel your pain about the cane frogs/toads; they are a problem for pet owners here in Australia, Brisbane 😩. This humane way of killing this nasty toad is very inhumane for human 😂 (store the frog in my freezer! no way!)

I’m with you don’t mess with my dog cause I’ll come after you, I said that to the deer around here when we first moved in 6 years ago. They are beautiful to watch. We would have a whole herd in the backyard. This is funny we had just been in the house a month when hubby and his brother took a motorcycle trip to do the 4 corners of the US, gone close to a month, oh yeah he got home and I had hired a company to fence in the backyard to protect my Dobi, it was almost finished when he got home. His first question, how much did this cost me, told him he didn’t want to know, we live on an a little over an acre. We do what we have to do. Yeah I feel sorry for them so now I’m feeding them deer pellets over the fence.🥰🥰💋

"Two powders, one face"! You are wound up today, Tammy! Poisonous frogs that can kill our furbabies??! Oh no, honey! How scary! I couldn't imagine being obsessed with something that could take our Shepherds Wile E, or Rayna so quickly, Tammy! Buffalo certainly knows snow blizzards! We always feel so badly for those across from us here in Freelton (just North of Hamilton, Ontario), because you all get so much lake effect snow, I think. It's incredible how much more snow falls there compared to here even though we're not that far away! I hope our friends in Texas are coming along much better. I haven't used Clinique foundation for years; I did find that it could stain my clothes if it landed on my top, or slacks, however. Please keep the pups safe, Tammy! I really like your blouse (dress?). So springy and such a happy color. That is, absolutely, horrible about those nasty frogs! I would kill them, too. Very pretty look. I ordered and just received the it Cosmetics Vitality Lip Flush Stain in Je Ne Sais Quoi. It is just a flush of color, just enough to a light glow. Very pretty.I think it was MaryEllen after 60, who recommended it. Anyway, it isn't supposed to transfer to a mask. Yay! xo~linda

Hey Tammy :-)) Im laughing at 2 powders 1 face ha ha ha. The frogs and the Gators oh my!!! We have little flies called midges here in Scotland, that annoy us. I kill wasps lol. I try and not kill the spiders, by lifting them up in tissue paper then tossing them out the window, but i sometimes squash them doing this lol.oxoxo
