I had the Moderna vaccine. There were no side effects for me after the first dose. With the second dose, I had chills and fatigue the second day. The next morning I woke up and felt wonderful! I am so grateful to be fully vaccinated. Sending positive thoughts to you and Lou!

Welcome back Tammy! Vaccine-it's a no for me (I don't get the flu shot either)-no one should have to explain or justify their choice either way. Silver hair-I am 14 months into my grow out. I've def had to adjust the tones of my makeup as I was a med auburn brunette before. I adore the natural color and get so many compliments on it, even from women half my age (I turned 50 in Sept). That lippie is glorious on you!!!!

I had Moderna vaccine. Second dose I felt achy all over, flu-like symptoms, vomiting and passed out at one point. ( I had not eaten anything just coffee). Our office had second dose at same time and half of us had reactions. I hope you can get it couple days earlier. I felt fine second day. Love you Tammy and wish you the best of luck! I am 72 and my husband is 75 and after our first Moderna Vaccine we didn't have any problems. Some of our friends got pretty sick after the second shot with chills, fatigue and nausea. We heard through several sources that before you take your second shot eat a banana, drink gatorade and after your shot take 2 tylenol. We both did this and neither one of us had any symptoms after second shot. Maybe if we hadn't done these three things we wouldn't have had any problems anyway. Who knows, but we figured it wouldn't hurt to try. Good luck on your second shot for you and Lou. So glad you had a wonderful well deserved break, but it is so good to see you back !

Tammy,I agree with you about the under eye concealer and creasing but have you tried the Trinny London eye concealer? I absolutely love it and it really has not settled into my lines. It is not a heavy coverage so not everyone would love it but I am very happy with how it improves the look of my 66 years young eye circles/bags. That lip colour looks stunning on you and you are looking as gorgeous as always. We can’t get the vaccine here in Australia yet but when available,I will get it. I am a breast cancer survivor and I would rather have a few symptoms for a couple of days than get COVID-19 and be in hospital on a ventilator. Safe travels Tammy and take care of yourselves. Tammy that look is fabulous!. I have been trying cream bronzers and blushes, but I love the look of the NARS. Your hair is beautiful either way and can’t wait to see what you decide to do. I just got my second Moderna vaccine Thursday and have had no problems either time other than a sore arm at the injection site. After the second shot I did take Advil dual action every 8 hrs and pushed fluids until mid Friday.

I actually think you could ROCK that gray hair! Your hair is so GORGEOUS and healthy, and the gray looks like a sparkly silver that would go well with your beautiful face. Tough decision bc the blonde looks AMAZING as well! As to vaccine, I'm not an anti-vaccer, but I have such bad reactions to many medicines (including a normal med like IV iron) that I'm scared about an allergic reaction to vaccine. I've already had covid, so I think my immune system is strong enough now to fight the virus. My husband and parent's had Moderna and they did well, just a little fatigue and moderate chills with 2nd dose. Keep us posted! ❤❤🤗

I got my first shot this past week and I got the Astra Zeneca. I’m in Canada and it’s available to anyone over 55. I had a medium level headache for a two days and a bit of dizziness the evening that I had it. My arm wasn’t sore at all which is odd because it always gets achy when I get the flu shot. Both me and my husband got the moderna vaccine because we travel almost monthly back and forth Fl-NY thought it would be wise thing to do. First shot felt fatigued with very sore and itchy arm. 2nd shot sore arm and low grade temperature some fatigue x24hrs. Glad I took it! More relaxed starting to get back on track with living life.

Welcome back!! My husband received Pfizer no reactions. I had Moderna, 1st shot no issues, 2nd shot after 10 hours, body aches & fever till morning. Week later rash at exam site and swelling. Really not bad at all, about the same reaction I had to flu & shingles shots.

I think silver hair like Paula Deen’s is beautiful! Which ever you choose I’m sure will be beautiful as well. My husband and I both got the Moderna vaccine. I got mine a few days before him so thankfully I didn’t get sick from it or he would’ve declined getting one. Both of us had a very sore arm for a couple of days but that’s it. Oh and Wayne Goss gave a great tip for concealer to stay put. After moisturizing put some eye shadow primer under you eyes then add concealer. It works!!

Moderna had both shots and got sick with both it was horrible!! I finally tried londontown polish in dessert flower and sugarcane first dessert flower is my new fav it’s so beautiful!! It lasted over a week I loved it so I had to get the serum, hand cream and ridgefiller!!

Hi Tammy, My husband and I both got the Pfizer shot, about 1 month ago. I got pretty tired hours after the first shot, and the 2nd shot I had a sore arm for about 2 days. My husband just had a sore arm for both shots. I have never received a flu shot, and I have never become sick with the flu. With Covid, we both wanted to be able to visit our grandson in Connecticut. I've had my 1st jab over here in the UK, along with over half our adult population. I had no side effects apart from a sore arm. My husband had no side effects at all. We have to wait 12 wks for our 2nd jab here, as they have bee n trying to do as many 1st jabs as possible, so that people have at least 75% immunity. Emma x

First one fatigue about 3 days. Second one less pain at site but 3+ weeks of fatigue. Aside - I have Type 1 Diabetes, Lupus and Osteoporosis.

I’m 61 and healthy and had my 2nd Moderna shot this past Tuesday. After the first one, my arm hurt for 2 days; after my second dose, I woke up with body aches, chills and temperature of 101.9 which went up and down for almost 2 days. On the 3rd day I felt like my normal self again! My partner who is 74 yrs old is a diabetic and has other health issues also had a sore arm and was nauseous after the first shot and experienced no side effects after the second. Happy Sunday!!!

I missed you! Praying your second dose of the vaccine goes well for you. I got my 2nd dose of Pfizer last Wednesday and at the 14 hour mark I woke up with severe shaking chills, fever, aching and a wicked headache. It last about 36 hours and I had to miss a day of work. My son got his at the same time as me and had the same side effect. I woke up on Friday and was pleasantly surprised that I felt pretty darn good considering the Thursday that I had.

Hi Tammy...I’m 72 and had no reaction from either vaccine shot. Pretty lucky. My friends had a variety of reactions, but nothing acute and mostly fatigue. It’s so nice to feel a little more protected and confident to shop, etc. Have a wonderful summer....and, oh, I let my gray grow out a couple of years ago, after coloring it for 41!!!! years and have received a ton of compliments on it. I received Pfizer both vaccine with no reaction. Some of family members received Moderna and had just 24 hour reaction such as slight headaches, arm soreness, fatigue & body aches. At 24 hours, everything went away. Good luck on your 2nd vaccine and hopefully we'll all be able to get back to a "new" normal with protection!

Oh, that lip is gorgeous! I got my first vaccine in January and my second in February. I literally cried. After eight months of seeing and talking to my family through the glass door I was so relieved. Living alone during quarantine was challenging, even though I knew it was necessary. I don't like to say the "L" word, lonely, but I did suffer some. I had to have some stern talks with myself. I only had a tender arm. I only had a tender arm with the shingles shot, too.

I got my first Pfizer vaccine last week and I’m scheduled for my second one on the 27th. I plan on flying two weeks later to finally give my 93 year old dad and 90 year old mom a hug after almost 1 1/2 years. I can’t wait. My arm hurt for a few days and I had a bit of a headache. I hear that people usually get sick after the second Pfizer shot. My husband got his second Pfizer shot today, so we shall see. I am also planning to get the Shingles vaccine, but not right away.

The day after, I ran a low grade fever and the fatigue was severe...I could hardly walk to the bathroom...no way I could have walked thru an airport. It took me about 3 days to get back to normal...I do have chronic Lymes, which could have played into it...Oh, I vote for the gray!

I’ve had both Pfizer shots and intentionally planned to have a friend keep my dogs after the second shot because of how bad I felt after the first one. Today it’s 5 days after my second shot and I’m just now beginning to feel a little better. I’ve had a low grade fever, horrible headache, muscle aches and other flu symptoms, nausea and extreme fatigue. I had the same symptoms after the first shot but they were less severe and only lasted about 48 hours. However, I don’t know if it makes a difference in my symptoms but I have fibromyalgia and hypertension. As long as you will be staying long enough to allow yourself a couple days to recover after you arrive but before you have to start packing or anything that requires a lot of physical activity, you should be fine.

You're gorgeous. I have a friend who let her hair go silver. It was a bit of a life change for her actually. She changed her make up, the colors of clothing that she wore, and it was an adjustment, hair care changed. I recommend if you want to do that to wait until a later time once you have finished all your work in New York and finally settled back in Florida.

I got the J & J vaccine. I've never been so sick. I have RA which flared horribly, the worst flareup I ever had. I also had along with the flareup nausea, a ferocious headache and severe neck pain also my eyes swelled shut two nights in a row, I stumbled to the bathroom and got a cold cloth, this helped to get them opened enough to see. This has just gone on and on. I was too sick to even think about going to the dr., I just couldn't move. Its now been a month and am starting to feel better.
