@smileyshani2252 YES🎉🎉🎉 It's so true. I don't know why it's such a weird topic. With me being so open, I've been talking about it since my diagnosis and I get support from some, and weird looks from others🤣 It's so taboo, and I think because it's so taboo, I was clueless as to why I was feeling the way I was feeling. I'm glad you're talking about it. I'm not surprised, though. YOU ROCK🎉🎉

I am very blessed. I started menopause when I turned 50. It has been such a blessing to not even have hot flashes, night sweats and I sleep through the night all the time. I did not have to take any medication at all. Not sure how it worked out like that but it was a breeze for me.

Tara Lynn! I am so glad to see you. I am right with you on that menopause train ride. Please know, its different for every person, and I am mad that your primary care said what they said and seemed to say oh, you'll get thru it. That's a load of crap and not good doctoring in my book. You are your best self care advocate. Having said that, I am glad you have gotten the care and hormones you need. Estrogen & progesterone work together and I love em! I am on HRT and its been the best decision I ever made. Never be afraid to question authority (dr's) and get the care you need, in any situation. I will say, been menopausal for 10 yrs...and life is awesome at 61. Now on moving to Florida..oh boy! you take care of yourself now, ya hear! Good to see you again my dear {{BIG HUGS}}

So glad you are back! I knew as soon as you started talking about your symptoms that it was most likely menopause. It is life changing! Approximately 8 months ago I saw a video on You Tube with Mel Robbin’s and Dr. Mary Claire Haver. I learned more about menopause in that video than all my years of being in menopause. I am 63 and bought Dr. Mary Claire Havers books. I am now trying to find someone with more experience to see if I am still a candidate for hormone replacement therapy. I did the pellet in the past and had a horrible experience but hopefully I can get on something to help with brain fog, anxiety, depression, lack of sleep, etc. Good luck on your journey!

It’s so good to see you Tara!!🥰 I can relate as I had severe endometriosis and had a hysterectomy at 42, leaving one ovary to provide hormones. Well that pooped out a year later and it was full blown menopause. HRT was a lifesaver and I’m so glad you are finally feeling better! Love your longer videos because it’s truly like catching up with a friend. Keep them coming!❤❤

I am only at the 20 minute mark... but I had to pause to say that as soon as you started talking about what was going on... I immediately recognized me... and thought PERI / MENOPAUSE before you said it... I think I am 5ish years older than you... but it has been a devastating experience for me mostly emotionally... but also my energy, even my self esteem... and the headaches... I don't even recognize myself...but I have some amazing doctors that helping me to balance things out... and I believe I will move through this tunnel!!! It affects so much more than anyone ever realizes! I am even reading about how estrogen is related to our pain tolerance, among 100's of other symptoms that don't seem related at first glance! ETA - I am so glad you are responding so quickly and fully to the HRT... that is amazing!! Also, if you have any issues in the lady parts area... feeling like you have UTI's, having actual UTI's, dryness, etc.... they can also prescribe vaginal estriol locally for those symptoms and this type of estrogen will not effect your systemic levels... but really helps with everything locally from bladder on down. Just an fyi... it's crazy that this is all like a secret that no one talks about, and no one knows anything about... INCLUDING THE DOCTORS... so grateful for the pioneering doctors that are becoming experts in an area that is just not taught as part of the traditional curriculum during med school... so awful.... cause we are only HALF OF THE POPULATION that is guaranteed menopause if we are lucky enough to live to 50 and beyond!!

My hubby was with me, and he was the one saying "No, that's not happening". He has been receiving bio identical hormone therapy for years and he said, "We're going somewhere else, we'll get through this" When I left my medical spa after going through my blood work, it was a VERY different car ride home. I made an appointment and long story short, my estrogen was so low it was menopausal level. I wasn’t in menopause, but my levels were just off for some reason. They put me on estrogen and I’ve been great ever since. That was over a decade ago and I have blood work coming up in November. I’m a little nervous because I hate to even think about my levels being off and changing anything and possibly regressing. I hope not! But it’s funny my husband had to suggest seeing a doctor about it and it never even crossed my mind!!! Hang in there Tara!!! We’ll get through this!!!

So glad to see you again and that you are doing well. Glad you took care of yourself and that you figured out your hormones and found answers. A lot of women go years without answers and suffer in silence thinking there is something wrong with them or they are going crazy we need to talk more about this and make sure women get the treatment we deserve we should not just deal with it and suffer in silence like your doctor recommended that is not fair

I’m so glad you put this video up! Menopause is no joke. I went through it at 40 after a bout with shingles. Bioidentical pellets saved my life.

Thank you for this video and sharing your story, don’t apologise for the long video because I would watch it even if it was an hour long or even longer. You are one of my favourite youtuber, and I really appreciate your honesty, and love your personality. 🩷🩷🩷

Thank you so much for talking about this! I feel really alone when it comes to stuff like this so it helps and means SO much! 💗

@Criticalbeauty411 I'm so sorry you feel alone, I felt the same way. I am so open about stuff, and I've had some be very supportive, and others give me weird looks. I'm scrolling through the comments and they are filled with woman not only being supportive, but giving advice, sharing their own experiences, this community is amazing. YOU ARE NOT ALONE❤️ If you ever need to chat, you can DM me on Instagram ❤️ Sending you lots of hugs💕

I started HRT with midi Heath 2 months ago and it’s been life changing. So little research has been done regarding menopause
@TaraLynnbeautyАй бұрын
@michellehinkle-r5m I know, that's the hard part. When you're first diagnosed, and my primary care physician was like, no biggie, you'll get through it. I felt lost. But, my hubby started getting hormone therapy years ago and he said "Screw him, we're going somewhere else" 😜 I think PCP don't really want to treat it these days. Some have suggested it's due to prempro causing breast cancer back in the 80's-90's so they avoid prescribing. But, I think it boils down to not enough research. 🫣

I have missed your videos and the fact that you came back talking about things that I deal with on a daily basis made me feel so much better. I believe I’m in perimenopause. I mean every single symptom you can think of I literally have and it’s been hell and nothing happens in the bedroom, so my spouse is irritable, so please let me know since you have started hormones if it has helped and that area as well as all the other areas lol and welcome back girlfriend💜🩵💙

I forgot to add I had surgery and had my right ovary and tube removed because of endometriosis and cyst and I swear to God since that happened it has made everything hell keep in mind. I’m only 36 and I turned 37 this December. It’s been a nightmare, but I swear everything is linked to that. Let me know what you think. Please 😂

Wonderful video, you are so talented! I have followed you for years, primarily for beauty content which was my primary YT interest overall. Guess what? I still follow you for your great beauty talent, but my fav videos these days are travel, lifestyle and home!! Go figure!! It would be wonderful seeing you traveling and sharing your destinations. One door closes and another opens, go for it!!
