Abby, you did the Chanel Cristal Quad justice, (my favourite), and I'm so grateful for this! As I had purchased all four of mine since the week before last, I've been so frustrated by the way in which so many are using these incorrectly and then blaming Chanel for their own errors! Even your swatches showed the intensity to which these shadows can be built up to. I loved that you covered the lid with the icy blue shade and not simply dabbed the smallest dot in the middle. Many have even been whinging that the shadow wears off their eyes during the day, which will tend to happen when not using a good primer or base. You've given my faith a boost and for that I'm so very grateful. It's so frustrating to own all four Quads and be fully aware of what they are capable of, only to see inexperienced You Tubers butcher these beautiful palettes.😢 You did so well and I'm proud. You are usually my 'skin-twin' and I'm curious whether the Chanel Foundation in BR32 shows up pink on the face. I don't usually go for a rosy tone, yet neutral instead. It looked fine on your hand, yet I'd rather be sure. Thanks.🌺 Now - the perfume! How dare you tempt me like that! "Blackberry Champagne"! I clicked straight onto the link, yet I'm afraid that after buying all four of the Chanel Quads and the most I've ever spent for an eye palette on eBay yesterday, plus several other splurges, it will have to wait. A 50ml size would have suited me better as it takes me forever to get through fragrance. As a migraine sufferer, I have to be careful how much I use. I already have much to get through, yet this sounded delicious! I always keep the Twisted Lily site on my home-page and will be sure to remember this one. I had to laugh when their computer system recognised that I was from Australia, they announced this fact with a "G'day" greeting me to the site! Although, not a formal greeting, it was most funny to see. Can't wait to see you use Vénitienne with the gorgeous green shift from the sparkling shade.🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨 PS. I picked up the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Cream in Rosy Beige in a hope that something will blur out everything I don't want visible on my face! It wasn't as successful being used with my fingers, so I'll be trying a brush next. It did even out the complexion though, without appearing pink. There are so many enhancers available on the market already and even more are being released. I'm just using what I have already first.

Woo hoo! This is a HUGE compliment coming from you, my friend! I am so excited about these quads and did not know others were not loving them. LOL! I try not to watch other reviews before doing my own because I too, am influenced! As far as the Chanel BR32 - I find it to be NEUTRAL in the Chanel line up. THe B30- leans more warm and orangey on me and the BR32 leans more Neutral with slight rosy undertone. We have not received the Rose Beige Glow Cream yet... keep me posted! xoxo

Hi Abby! In case you would like to know, and I apologize in advance if the following French lesson upsets you: “des ors” is pronounced, “deh-zoh-rr” - Atelier des ors means “workshop of the golds” (i.e. white gold, yellow gold, pink gold). (In French, the last consonant in a word is seldom pronounced - including words ending with r, s and t. As well, “yeux” is an “exception word” in French and it is pronounced “z-ee-y-euh” (note that the singular “eye”, is “œil” (pronounced “uh-yy”). Now for the GRWM - love the look you created! That Chanel quad is really flattering. The Valentino blush is so pretty! (The Valentino powder blush formula is among my favorites). Thank you for this lovely Pink me up!

I actually find this information quite interesting and helpful. I've definitely got 'or' covered due to loving jewellery and seeing it so often used in make-up. An eye pencil from Chanel recently arrived with the name Or Gold, which is as beautiful as it sounds. I did visit France many years ago and we did try our very best to use the language as much as possible, knowing how dear it is to the French who rarely like to use English, which I fully understand why. I'm also one of those people who prefer to call someone by their birth name and not by one that has been adjusted to English. There are several words that are physically difficult to pronounce between cultures. I have this problem with America and I'm from Australia! We have all adapted to our environments and cultures and shouldn't feel the need to apologise when getting it wrong when using another language. We should all understand by now.💖

@@AbbyBlissWhite Absolutely always keep trying! French is very different from English - and it is difficult to learn as an adult. My principal aim was to explain the rule regarding the last consonant. Please don’t hesitate to say French words - or words in any “foreign” language for that matter. The worst thing that can happen is someone like me. ❤️

Just say the best you can and don't always feel the need to apologise for words you've pronounced, especially when you may have said them correctly in the first place. I notice this throughout a number of Beauty Channels, yet we're all pretty much in the same boat when not knowing other languages.
