GS Tutorials - UCM: Outbound Routes
For this episode of GS Tutorial, we will be showing you how to configure your outbound routes.There's a lot to cover in this tutorial, so be sure to pause and go back if needed. Now lets get started!
So what we'll learn in today's video is how to control what happens when someone makes an outbound call.
Some items to ask yourself before you decide to make your outbound routes:
-How many digits are allowed to be dialed?
-Which trunk do you send the call to when someone dials a local number or any number?
-Do you want to restrict user access to a particular trunk?
-Does the user need to dial a prefix before dialing their 10 digit number.
-Does the user need to dial long distance? International?

Hi I have 6204. When dialing out using analog trunk /PRI; this PBX doesn't give PRI dial tone. In my earlier experience on analog PBX was when we use code 0 to dial outside network we used to get different dial tone (which confirms that PRI line is up & running). Can we have similar function in this PBX?

Hello, I'm using VIOP trunks with google voice. I'm trying to setup a pattern to prepend the 1 so I can do 10 digit dialing. I have follow what you did in this video but I keep getting an error when I dial and have to dial 11 digits. Any tips I should check for so I can get this to work.

you mentioned here at 18:34 that a custom number can be added and this is not the case. I am on the same firmware version as yourself and that option to type a number doesn't work and in turn call diversion unconditional and follow me don't work. we need to use enable filter on source caller id and call forwarding never works
