Finally someone that actually tells the truth and knows what she's talking about. I can't stand the phony clowns that jump up and down and squeal at the quality of the box and all that stupid junk. Thanks for the great review as I figure out what phone I want. If you read this....does anyone know if the OLED screen here is much better than the HD normal screen or does the lack of pixels make it not very noticeable? 385 PPI is average to low at best for good phones.

Motorola never said "Flagship killer". Even OnePlus stopped using that flagship killer statement. She said that. Lot of comments are literally comparing the Moto Edge to $1K flagship phones because she said that and I think that is the wrong comparison. You don't compare mid-range phones with other flagship phones that are 2 or 3 times more. Right now, the Moto Edge is on sale for $349.99 (Verizon activation) or $499.99 (unlocked) at Best Buy right now. It is pretty much in Pixel 4a ($350) and iPhone SE ($400 64GB/$450 128GB) price territory. We see 6.7" OLED, Gorilla Glass 5, 90hz refresh rate, 5G, Snapdragon 765 processor (higher than Pixel 4a), microSD slot, 256gb internal storage ($400 iPhone SE has 64GB internal storage), 4500 mAh battery, headphone jack and dual stereo speakers.... I have a moto z2 force and pixel 3a and I think they are both great especially for the great deals I got them for. I am not upgrading my current Pixel 3a now but if I were, I would have a real tough choice between the Pixel 4a and the Moto Edge. Forget the iPhone SE (2020) as I think the 4.7" screen is unusable nowadays.

Great to see a review on just the Edge. Boy, they are really hard to find. In the UK we don't get the Plus model. It's too expensive anyway. I think the Edge is much better value for money. I really like that water background and the big battery

I was lookin for a travel phone and motorola was selling the edge for $399! At that price is great phone, I was able to get the the moto360 and the phone for. $598 together, that's an excellent price for the both. Thank you for the review

NO way. You would be down grading if you get this phone. 7t might have little smaller battery but 30 w Warp charge can destroy the 18 w motorola charging. Snapdragon 855+ destroys 765 7t has 8 gb ram and this one has 6 gb. Dont do it.

Too be honest..I have both phones..and even though the OnePlus 7t has a better processor and more ram, I really didn't notice any performance difference between the two at all....I can tell you that the moto edge is nicer looking and more fun to use...

Oneplus 8/nord have no 3.5 mm jacks, though. They'd probably have been my #1 considerations, but that kills them hard from my list. The only thing cooling my entusiasm about this piece is that cascade screen farce of an idea. It trades so many aspects (increased cost, worse production yield, more awkward to use, harms the side button placement, palm inputs, usually more fragile etc.) for a mostly useless gimmick and minorly improved aesthetics, if even that. No idea, what Motorola was thinking with that, as even Samsung as the inventors binned that idea, for a reason.
