GSXR Exhaust: Stock vs.Voodoo vs.Two Brothers vs. Yoshimura

GSXR 600 (k6) Exhaust sound test: Stock vs. Voodoo vs. Two Brothers VAVLE vs. Yoshimura R55 Slip on. Each pipe sounds louder in person. My personal choice, Voodoo sounds horrible for riding - use only for a looks or a show bike, Two Brothers performed well but too loud even at low RPMs. Yosh is loud but bearable, performs even better! The Yosh comes with a silencer and the TBR is sold seperatly. I went with the yoshimura r55 at the end of the day.

I have a Voodoo on my GSXR-1000 and honestly it is stupid loud but after installing both baffles it keeps its deep tone but is still loud enough for people to hear you, And is able to be riden with.

voodoo is always a classic just because of how damn loud it is haha. two bros sounds great always liked the sound and look of it. yoshi has a great sounds very deep love it

Yosh has a crisp and clean sound quality. Voodoo is just overkill for street use but would be my pick for a track day!

I got voodoo exhaust with no baffle or cat and it sounds crazy. Hear it for miles away and makes you deaf every time you ride. It shot a flame half the length of the bike once but it was tuned for the exhaust.

Another factor is that the camera is now placed behind the exhuast for the Yoshimura where as the others weren't. Thus making the Yoshimura sounding better!!

I just installed the two brothers c/f on my 750 and it will ring your ears just standing next to it. He didnt rev it like he should of. Yoshi was made for suzuki so it is possibly better but two brothers sounds the sickest! OBNOXIOUS! ;)

Man that Yoshi is so great on there! I used to be the guy that liked the Jardine GP1s, and VooDoos. But I got over that quick. Sounds like you're riding 80mph just idling through traffic.. That Yoshi pipe has a GREAT sound and I positively love the look. The Two Bros looks the worst. M4 is OK but loud too.. Yossshhiiiiii!

The R-55 takes the cake. Then the 2-Bros, then that Voodoo. For me (if I had em), I go Racefit Growler, R-55, M4 shorty, Akra shorty, '06/'07 Jardine. Ended up with a Hotbodies MGP Growler... But it ain't bad for it's lower price (plus it was a gift). Definitely hacked the cat, and placed a mid.

Voodo makes the bike look cleaner but you are right for riding is not adecuate. The yoshi pipe has a conftable riding sound and has a bit of the clean look I think you are looking for. The two bros looks completely out of place like a cofee can sticking out. Too bad you didn't go for the M4, In my personal Opinion it has the clean look and the sound to go with it.

Voodoo is all you need got them on my 600&750 gsxr`s I ride with many types of bike`s all with different types of pipes and my voodoo catches the ear like no other especially at high speeds

Did you buy a power commander or bazzaz with the voodoo or did you just get it tuned? Definitely settling on the voodoo but don't want to buy a power commander or bazzaz if not needed. Will appreciate the response.

@celo456celo haven't tried this myself but i have been told you can reduce the back-firing by removing the pair valve which is located is the air box. from my understanding the pair valve dumped unused air out your exhaust and that's where the back-firing comes from. still prob need a power commander though.

Have a 2 Brothers on my K7 I got a good deal on it and always thought it was a nice looking slip-on so I went for it, it is waaaaaaaaaaaaay to loud though for anyone thinking of buying one..

Unfortunately as good as these sound, many recording devices can't capture all the waves coming out of the pipes. I recorded my Twobrothers on my 954RR and it sounds dead sexy on video, but needs re packing and has a higher "off" sound that isn't audible through the video. I'm sure a packing kit will take care of that though. Mine is also some 10+inch long.

Yoshi sound good only on gsxr's. But over all 2 bros sound good on any sport bike
