Recent sub and leo of 22 years. I love watching and interjecting actual law into these cases. Involuntary manslaughter simply doesn't apply. There has to be a criminal catalyst, be it DUI, running from the police, etc. Without a criminal element, you simply can't charge involuntary crimes. Without hearing more and asking more questions, this is a simple ticket of failure to maintain lane. Terrible tragedy....
