This is exactly what I want from sim racing. Racing is fun and all but sometimes I just wanna drive while I listen to music or a podcast. Sadly there's aren't any sim racing games for this without mods. Would love to see a cyberpunk night city version of this one day.

That's why there's hype around the upcoming test drive unlimited SC game, its produced by the same people who made WRC generations and is therefore to have strong wheel support (however, likely "simcade physics", instead of pure sim). One of the main features of this game is cruising around, which is exactly what's missing from the sim genre as you said. You can see the recent trailer of "Test drive unlimited/ the cruiser trailer" showcasing this.

@Owennerd Actually, bringing a map from GTA into Assetto Corsa requires quite a bit of work. The map had to be recreated to fit the specifics of AC because you can't directly transfer game files from GTA; their formats and game engines are entirely different😉

Exactly, @Kurie! It's not VR - this is all captured on a triple monitor setup with 55" OLED TVs. I use a GoPro mounted on a helmet to film, capturing everything in real-time. It makes everything look super realistic, doesn't it? Glad you're impressed by the setup!😊✌️

Haha 😁 My setup consists of triple 55" OLED TVs, which provides a wide, immersive view. I film the gameplay with a GoPro camera mounted on a helmet on my head, capturing everything in real-time from my perspective. So, what you see in the videos is exactly what I see while driving. *In physics, there is no reason a car would drift all the time. It would need a very specific rear gear. Like a 4:1 and the rear tires would have to be specific tire. Basically, have ZERO traction. Cars don't drive like this unless they are setup to suck at driving.*

This is the maps lod i beleive with some bitmap textures. It doesnt matter for a sim really too much but i like the placement of the trees and i love the fact you are able to be on the actual surface of the gta world. Really cool.

@mr.n476 It really boils down to your preferences. If you're a fan of GT3 cars, then ACC is a great choice. However, if you enjoy a wider range of cars, from retro to exotic, AC is the way to go. Plus, AC offers the flexibility of adding mods, allowing you to introduce new tracks and cars not available in the original game. Enjoy your racing journey!😊✌️

As cool as it is, it's still a work in progress, so Vinewood Hills aren't available yet. But imagine the possibilities when they are! Can't wait to see how the mod develops further. Keep an eye out for future updates - it's going to be epic! 🙂✌️

When I first seen a yt channel with the jeep trackhawk and other cars I was like where is this game at I wanna test drive these cars.. that trackhawk is hard and also I can’t wait for that Buick envista or whatever the name was for it. It’s the lambo truck but Buicks version and that join’t goes hard it’s tuff… that thing is gng be the new hood classic and the fine low price of $28k … can’t beat that beauty at all .

Loving the videos so much. I'm a new subscriber and was wondering if adding the bezel-free kit to your monitors was a game-changer. I have VR but use my triples for driving sims and would love to hear if it's worth the outlay - especially considerig that you would have had to modify the kits to fit your monitors (if you used the Asus brand). Does it look as good for you as it does for us viewing the video?

First off, welcome to the Project Sim Racing community✌️, and I'm thrilled to hear that you're enjoying the videos!🙏 Regarding your question, I'd say the addition of the bezel-free kit wasn't a massive game-changer for me. My TVs bezels are quite slim, so I never found them particularly distracting to begin with. Yes I use the Asus ROG Bezel-Free Kit, and I had to use two kits to accommodate my triple 55" TVs, and it wasn't a significant enhancement, considering the minimal bezels my setup already had. That being said, it might offer a more seamless viewing experience for setups with larger bezels. And yes, what you see in the videos is a pretty accurate representation of my actual view🙂 Hope that helps in making your decision, and once again, thank you for joining and contributing to our community!💙✌️
