As a Floridian, that whimsical explaination of red tide is grossly misdescribed. The bloom of algae from red tide pulls all of the oxygen out of the water. Which suffocated all of the sea life causing their carcasses to wash ashore and rot. Its horrifying and not "cool" at all.

Thought y'all might be interested in knowing the start of the talking dog buttons ((which are just push buttons that you record yourself by the way)) Christina Hunger, MA, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist and the first person to teach a dog to "talk" using augmentative communication. It was her using her profession to teach her dog, Stella to talk using buttons. Bunny is one of the many dogs using Christina Hunger's techniques to train dogs to "talk". Look up "Hunger for Words" if you are interested. As for using these buttons for merch, know that the buttons are just recordable buttons that you can record whatever you want on them. So I don't think its exactly the idea y'all were thinking of.

I will say for extra context to the theory: "Its me" appears constantly without Golden Freddy. You see it when he's present, yes, but you also see it randomly, on posters, on the Foxy Sign, etc. Crying Child being a lost ghost calling out for his brother makes more sense in that light, and the reason it ramps up when Golden Freddy is about to jumpscare Michael is because CC/Dave is distressed. The trope in ghost media where a more passive ghost becomes incredibly scared/reactive when or right before a more powerful aggressive ghost is present.

Hello! Quick input about "it's me". I believe it's become something that means something to both (if subscribed to the 2 soul theory) souls. With crying child it's reaching out and kind. The main characters are his family. With Cass it is all focused on William. Mike repeatedly has been told he looks like his father, and wears security gear and other stuff his father has. That's why even tho crying child is also saying it, and being kind. Cass with the rage of thinking whether it's Mike or William, that it's the person who ruthlessly and brutally murdered them. Or that's what I think at this point in the series. I think it has Become something that relates to both, either or.

I don't think "Cassidy possesses Golden Freddy, Crying Child haunts Golden Freddy" is too controversial and i think the distinction is only important because Scott made it be different. If there weren't a difference between Agony and Remnant and haunting then it wouldn't matter, but it's Fnaf so.. we gotta consider the mechanics of the world that Scott has given us, not just what makes sense the easiest.

I think the coolest thing about Bunny is just that she's made a lot of people realize their pets are smarter than they thought they were. A dog memorizing a large map of buttons to use to get different results is not ground breaking in the world of animal science, but it's mind-blowing for a lot of people to learn that dogs even CAN do that. But of course they can. Your dog pushing "walk" on a button map is the same thing as your dog bringing you their leash.

Is it too much of a stretch to say that the crying child, wandering as a ghost in old places, found the golden freddy suit - alongside Cassidy and is kind of following along with her, "helping" each other? One of the problems with the idea that there are two spirits in Golden Freddy comes from the Happiest Day with the eyes of Golden Freddy being lit up and people thinking it is both his eyes. When it actually appears to just be the one eye with the glow being visible through the other socket. Several of the masks have their second socket lit up due to the glow of the eye with the light (Freddy, Chica, and Bonnie). Only one of Golden's Freddies eyes has the bright glow effect just like all the others.

I always feel like ultimate custom night is like Michael torturing William after everything he did to him (FNaF4 Gas Experiment). In UCN you do play as a night watchman which is a very MIchael thing for a spirit to project and in the old man consequences he does shout out mike's name with every animatronic that could have been in the fire. SPOILERS FOR "THE WEEK BEFORE" 45:00 I feel like The Week Before goes to great lengths to throw "It's Me" around, to such an extent that I think it's deliberately trying to emphasize that it ISN'T intrinsically related to Golden Freddy. Which, to be honest, FNAF 1 already does with the Pirate's Cove sign, and other instances of it. You _could_ argue it's related to Golden Freddy because they're in the same building, but that feels like a reach.

So has anyone else ever wondered why in FNAF 3, in the final minigame where Afton gets springlocked there is this final spirit who is already roaming free without being dismantled. Maybe that is the crying child who is a free roaming spirit and not bound to an animatronic? We see 4 animatronics being dismantled. Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy. But no Golden Freddy. And yet there are 5 ghosts.

Was Psychic friend friendbear the first incarnation of the Mimic, similar to how the Mimic in The Mimic was based on the plush of David's (really, after the potential of Dave being CC's name? hunh?) pet tiger?
