It's really good and funny but the platforming is even harder than in the last one, sometimes too hard for my taste, but not enough to make me quit this game. The visuals are just as good, the music even better, a lot of refferences to other games that make me chuckle and better combat imo.

I just beat the first one couple days ago, then I found out there is hard mode for this game. Do you recommend playing this one in hard mode from the start? I have no problem in fighting in the first game, bosses are really easy in normal mode imo.

You need to beat the game on normal mode to get access to hard mode but it’s definitely worth doing

I see what you mean about having to fight the old bosses to meet the new ones. It's surprising when you see who it is, but it feels cheap to be thrown into a battle unprepared when you can prepare for the others, but it's acceptable. And I waited for the boss rush mode in Hollow Knight for so long, I love fighting against bosses like Grimm and the Mantis Lords wherever I want and I enjoy the increasing challenge, even thought I think Pantheon 5 is bullshit, but it's only optional anyway (I'll do it anyway, just give me a few weeks... maybe months)

Unavoidable damage for Someone Who try to do an all bosses (no damage) doesn't count. Maybe the third boss Battle can be possible no hit but maybe you Need to play on the lowest difficulty and do that in multiplayer (4 players).

Gellot please answer me something would ya? A while back I asked if you would make no damage runs (both pacifist and genocide) on Undertale bosses. You responded with "I don't think it's relevant anymore". Why do you think that way? Are you just uncomfortable with the controversy surrounding the game? Is the difficulty of said bosses not on your level, or you just played though the game and said "enough is enough, let's move on"?
