Guam Celebrates 2025 at The Beach

Glad I came across your channel. I am somewhat obsessed with Guam. My wife will be coming there for work soon , I’m either going with her, or I’m setting a 2 week vacation for march in Guam. I can’t wait to see it. I live in Kentucky USA 🇺🇸. I’ve traveled many places here in the states but I want to go farther like Guam , Puerto rico , Hawaii, Philippines….

I was over there with work a couple years ago for about a month. Fell in love with the island and the people I met. Aiza at the Westin is awesome

This new years 2025 was not like others here on Guam . Tourism has been really bad since Covid and hardly picked up at all . Prices are to high and the yen rate compared to US dollar is really bad and not worth it for our main Japanese tourist . As for locals alot of our families have left the island to the mainland, this years new years was pretty silent compared to prior years but bill to legalized fireworks was passed but rules have yet to be placed and we haven’t got any vendors yet so look forward to 2026 for a more colorful new year, but happy new year 2025 may this year come with good health and more blessings

Guam can most definitely be worth the destination for many reasons

If you were in the military between '62 and '77 and stationed on Guam you may be entitled to VA benefits. I was at Anderson 65-67 and have had health problems since my time on Guam. I only recently found out that I was exposed to Agent Orange while on Guam. All my health problems through life were caused by Agent Orange. And my son's birth defects were inherited from me as he was born a couple years after I returned stateside. Ask me or look up the PACT act. You may be entitled to VA benefits. I thoroughly enjoyed my time on Guam. It was much more primitive in the mid '60's. if I visited the Island I doubt I would recognize any parts of it. I did take a ton of pictures and I had a dark room so I could develop my pictures. I sure would like to visit Guam again especially the beach on Anderson AFB.

Wow that is good for some people to know! Agent Orange is a terrible chemical! I've seen the effects via displays at a Vietnamese gallery, just awful! It'd be interesting to see your photos though
