Thank you! I'm feeling much more confident about actually getting my minis painted now. My thinking is that a slightly defective paint job is like 90% as good as an awesome one, particularly when viewed on the tabletop from about a meter's distance. So getting a few contrast paints seems like a good investment.

I'm interested in how the new Contrast paints can 1) be used as glazes 2) be used to paint organics i.e. Ork / Orc skin and Nurgle 'skin'' and 3) how they can be changed / used to make the 4 glazes that Citade / GW discontinued i.e. Lamenters Yellow, Waywatcher Green, Guilliman Blue and Bloodletter Red. .... that's it !!! I do wonder how these maybe used in say wet blending or for creating washes to get into those nooks and crannies with a bit more of their medium.

There is a reddit/instagram post using Nazdreg yellow and making NMM gold. The 9 box image looks AMAZING on the picture. Try it!! Gold or brass! Everyone has been doing metallic red and green...

Did you rinse them off? I found that army painter paints how the same problem.

COuld you put a basecoat through an airbrush? Loving this series.

It's just paint at that point. Doesn't do any 'contrast' stuff.

The problem with those models is that they have awful mold lines and the only way to get them off is a sharp scalpel -- which ofcourse removes the primer also.
