What U Need is the theme of the final level of Sonic Rush, the first game featuring Blaze, and Step by Step is the what the sampled lyrics are in Vela Nova, the theme for the battle between Sonic and Blaze, so...adds a nice double meaning to a dance fic)

One of my favorite fanfic’s isn’t even on Ao3. It was for the dragon ball fandom, a fan manga at that. At first it was merely a concept that could actually happen in canon; Goku and Vegeta fusing with their newest forms into Ultra Vegetto to fight Beerus. Pretty cool, but nothing out of the ordinary I was not prepared for the most Darkest, Messed Up, Angst-ridden, Betrayal, Hero corruption arc, revenge arc, war arc fanfic I have ever seen in my life… That shit went from 0-60 in a matter of a few videos.

I'm pretty sure "What U Need" was named after the theme of Dead Line, the final zone from Sonic Rush, Blaze's debut. 1st EDIT: Forgot to mention, it's extremely upbeat and high-energy, not something I'd associate with angst. 2nd EDIT: The other Sonic/Blaze fic on here might've been named after a sample from Vela-Nova, the boss theme of Dead Line, when Sonic and Blaze fight over who gets to save the world.

The fact I recognized that a fic was about my Son Boy from the use of “Boar” in the title alone unfortunately does not surprise me [my personal Byleth ship(s) are completely different, so I have never been through the ship tag for that fic] I have played every Eng FE game I could get my hands on since we got our first GBA title, and Dimitri is tied for my favorite lord with Seliph, so yeah I just knew in my heart of hearts which Boar this was 😅
