A little late to the party, but with a steak half that size I’m able to feed 3 people, provided that there are some side dishes. With wagyu, it’s not a moreish food, relegating it to a tasting steak. Leaner meats you can just chow down on, but a few bites of wagyu can fill you up due to the fat content. Arguably, my favourite part of wagyu is making fried rice from the fat after I trim everything off.

@@askehenriksen4984 Wow, what a hater! I've been watching both his channels and Guga has never claimed to be a chef. He just cooks foods that he likes or that people ask him to cook. Also, don't over-exaggerate by talking about 12-year olds when we know the average 12-year old knows nothing about grilling, smoking, and cooking sous vide. More importantly, the original comment you responded to was talking about the quality of the videos in terms of image quality, audio quality, editing, and all the other small touches that go into making a video. It's easy to have someone hold a camera while you cook, but there's so much more that goes into making a video. Go make 1 video as good as Guga's then come back and try to tell us how easy it was.

He is cooking it like most chefs in Japan do, excellent. I would love to try A5 the way he usually does it like an American steak, I’ve only had it the Japanese way which is amazing, but I think the grill would add so many flavors that a flat top does not. You can get A5 wagyu online its not that expensive, but I guess its all relative. I made a steak last week but really wasn't a fan, its so fatty its like your eating a hunk of fat. I am going to try it again using some of these techniques.

I actually often have trouble eating due to disability, and that plus a little sprinkle of MSG sometimes just makes *sure* I keep taking that next bite! Thanks for your videos, I love your channel, you present all these meat handling techniques that I've wanted to learn for years in such a clear and simple way that I feel ready to take on some dry aging already after binging your videos for a couple of days haha

I mean wagyu steak is not really too expensive for any of us. Its just the A5 grading, but literally any wagyu grading tastes so damn good. A5 is over 5 times the price of the other grade but maybe only 1.2 times better. Source, been in Japan for months now cuz of a student exchange. Guys. Im a student. I can afford wagyu in a restaurant. Just not A5. But its not expensive.
