I looked up Tyria. Beautiful cucumbers! I may grow them later. Seeds are super expensive. Your greenhouse is such a joyful place.

They are expensive I paid 90cents each but I do like the cucumbers and for me I just need to sell one cucumber from each plant to pay for a seed. I think they are worth it and think you will like the taste and the results.

So glad you found me!!! I should say you are going to have to watch more videos to answer your question, but I use a dosatron injection system for the bato buckets. Lots of videos on how I built it and how it works. If you have any more questions after watching a few of those videos, please reach out. I will help if I can!!

I grew some nutrient film beetroot and few years ago and the tubers formed on top of the coreflute I was using to support the plants. They took so long to mature I only tried it once. Thanks again for your content Katy and camera operator.

Thank you for the comment. I tried beats in the nft channel once and I did get some bulbs but they were not uniform and grew weird. They are really looking good in the barrels.

I’m using Netafim 0.5 gph emitters. Part number on my bag is 01wpcjl2-b hope that helps.

@@HomegrownPassion Thanks. I am trying Bato buckets this year. Last year my high tunnel got too hot (over 100) and most of my vegetables did not make it. This year, I am adding a wet wall and fans - with a second layer of plastic with the hopes of doing a better job. Do you also add shade cloth over your plastic?

We have in the past. I really like redu it worked great. Just filtered the uv red and greenhouse was significantly cooler. Also it was worn off by end of season. Easy to apply.

Ah man!!! I learned two great things. I had never thought about sealing leaks with PVC glue! I’ve been using some old raingo gutters for my NFT for years and every now and again I get leaks. Thanks for that hint. I bought a Dosatron last year and never gave cleaning it a thought. Thanks for that, too. 😊
