3 years later, this is still fantastic. I ran into an issue where I glitched with the 2nd fire plate and couldn't seem to get it back. Made me get the first fire plate again but it's all good. Your guides have been fantastic and I'm glad they're still accurate all these years later.

locations are perfectly aligned thank you for that. i would mention up front that the room is not exactly the same as yours as in way more foes to handle :) took me forever to pickup the 2nd rune in fire room

I highly recommend just exploring and enjoying Derelict Delve as a break in the Skyscale grind. There are a few weapon achievements in there and the zone is just generally different in look and feel.

Man, the collections for Skyscale are just not worth it. I'm SO ready for this to be over. Plates to open doors? What fun! EDIT - so I get to the 3rd door, it takes the rune, and doesn't let me through. Gotta start all over again. FFS.

It's content like the Derelict Delves that has killed this game...Anet listened to the wrong people: the paintards...these are the people who incessantly whine that the game isn't hard enough. What the numbskulls at Anet don't understand is that these paintards are just spouting crap to make themselves feel tough...they aren't actually playing the harder content, they're moving on to do the same thing with other games.

6:47 Rather than run the gauntlet, simply glide down from the entrance and land on the pillar with the runestone. Then jump from the pillar to the magic spot.

This guid works on the assumption that you can actually get on your mount. Which is highly unlikely, given when something attacks you, you can not mount!

ok folks when you get to the spider room, 1 it's easier to deal with the spiders in small groups as once in combat you can not get on mount. 2 you can shoot the spider webs down if you are a bow or gun user.

I can't see some of the runestones and concentration of magic spots. For example the runestone in front of the falling lava does not exist. I never done this quest before, what am I missing? :(

I followed guide to the letter. Got to Ice room, no concentration of magic node. Cannot complete achievement, the mount is literally unavailable to me. Multiple logins, multiple computers, doesnt matter.
