for those watching this here are some updates to the info (guild wars tweaked things a bit after this was made) 6:12 is no longer 1 djin but is now 4, speak to each one, however they may not be up so you may need to wait for the event to come up in order for them to come forward. 8:24 is not bugged, it's one of those risk your life to get this item moments as you need to let the quicksand eat your feet to get the earth magic. 10:13 seems to be a bit buggy, as after the event "student recreation" the collection icon will stay over the podium after you've completed it.

Awesome guides! Following it now for my Skyscale. Heck that's a lot of collections! Your videos are on point and as short as they can possibly get to just share everything important, love it. One tiny suggestion for showing locations - perhaps when you open a map to show us a Waypoint you could also already mark on a map where you'll be heading? This way i could mark in on my map as well :) Keep up the great job!

I decided to get skyscale before the new expansion comes out, and in the first collections, up until geting the eggs, I was fine doing it with just the wiki and markers. But then I got to this part and I was so overwhelmed I didn't even knew how to begin and blocked. I'm glad I found your guides, they've great. Just finished this one, super easy following your guide. Good guide. Def recommend getting them all activated for efficiency's sake. For the skyscale of earth, you need to get damaged by quicksand in various parts of the world for it. You don't need to die but there's a good chance you will anyway lol. Also you said skyscale of fear when you meant death.

Thank you and to be clear simply walk into the quick sand on foot to get the achievement. Just be near the edge of the land so you can jump out.

Love these videos! Have been following them religiously to complete the collections. Since I just completed this series today I just want to point out their is no longer a marker in the quicksand...none! The point is there, however, it will not be shown on the map but you will get the point and you do need to exit the skimmer.

Great guide! Definitely following your guides all the way through to get my skyscale! Two things, the earth magic collect in the quicksand did not show up on my screen, neither did the fire one in the lava. Just saying so others do not get confused. Just like the other post said, just take damage in the quicksand, and for the lava, just go step in it.

just a tip i farmed in like 3 minutes the blood and life skyscale in Vehjin mines which is filled with small adds for blood skyscale and downed workers in stacks of 5 or more

for anyone wanting to do the scale of life quickly. Id recommend Brisban wildlands. Use the Triforge waypoint and your going to find allot of allies dead. You can practically finish the entire scale of life there in less than 15.

I found Orson just west of where he was supposed to be. He wasnt doing an event either. So maybe check a little bit west by the trees if you are having problems finding him :)

I chose pocket raptors for the blood. They're at the beginning of HOT. Takes 1-2 hits to kill and they spawn in groups. Took me 5 minutes

The fire one you head towards at 8:36... what living world episode unlocks that path because atm that path you head down inside the mine is blocked by rocks :(

if you jump over the rocks there’s a small crevice you can fit through unmounted. that’s how i got in!

if you have done the mission where you enter the forge you can just go through there, thats what i ended up doing

Ok, Im confused big time. I followed your amazing guide on the griffin. It was SO easy to follow and was a snap. This video says part one, but in the beginning you say you need new born skyssale something or other. So where is the video for that first part you need?? you call it the second part of the 5 part series you need. Hope you can help.

So, you didn't explain that you have to complete the task of killing the 4 Champion Djinns - which is practically impossible solo. It's not really that hard to get the dragon it is a bit longer then getting the griffin mount it wasn't that bad. I just followed the steps and almost to the end of getting my dragon hehe. Troublesome skyskales is where I'm at now.
