Important Intel!!!!! If you can't get the event started in order to get to Joko's Bone Palace, you can climb to the top, or fly straight from the Jackal's flying palace place thing on top. from there you can just jump-glide in on the inside and proceed with collecting the magic. When you're doing the Dierdre's Steps jumping puzzle, when you switch to the bunny 08:40, you can actually keep jumping upwards right to where the magic is. Thanks a ton for your guides!

I just paid a mesmer who already had a skyscale 10g. Saved me what could have been days of jumping.

I used a portal to friend when someone else who was there made the jump just ahead of me last night. The shatterer event began right after that, and I went back afterwards and tried the jump just for the heck of it, and I made it on the second try. It really isn’t that bad, as long as you carefully shimmy your springer around to face the right direction, do a max jump, then tap s on the very end of the jump so it doesn’t skid off. I am also pretty terrible at jumping puzzles, but the mechanics and timing on a springer are much simpler, as long as you don’t have to rush it.

Take your time and go slow. It really isn't that hard to do and definitely not the hardest jump/jumps in the game.

The quicksand ones, you don't have to go right to the icon. You actually just have to take damage from it, so instead of dying you can step in and out of it.

A warning to noobs who hate jumping as much as me....there is one at the 11:07 mark in blazeridge steppes, that is the goofiest one yet, an absolute 'F' for the devs, so I will warn you in advance to find a portal mesmer with a skyscale...or wait for secrets of the obscure! (not buying that so having to do this the old way!)

It seems like an annoyingly frustrating amount of skipping information happens around 4:30. No names of waypoints or map to look at, just “go to the northwest part of the map near the mastery point” which is pretty vague because I’ve visited several mastery points fitting that description and am seeing nothing of the sort. The video jump cuts twice within ten seconds around the same time and I can’t even see where you went to magically appear right where you need to jump. For anyone looking, it’s the northwest part of Elon Riverlands, specifically.

The "in-combat" state is so poorly handled in this game that committing suicide by fall/quicksand and waypointing is faster than both fleeing until the game finally decides to let you mount or killing all the enemies around. This alone makes these steps so incredibly tedious. Everything else about this living world season was great, but this one archaic mechanic just destroys any kind of flow/momentum any player could have.

Bitterfrost Frontier. Ask any Winterberry gatherer. 😆 In the iced areas, there are so many places to get encased.

Quick tip for the dragon fo earth egg: you don't need to be right on the icon in the quicksand, the tips says just take damage from the sand in that place so u can just take one tick of damage on the rip and jump up.
