You are right on one thing you said. Miyako is a total guitar nerd! I've seen her play as many as seven different guitars in the same concert. That Switchback is not her only Dean. Her favourite is her Dean Icon. She's actually a Dean signature artist and has her own signature flying V Dean. When you add up all her guitars, keyboards, grand piano and, on one notorious occasion, keytar, they probably need a separate van just to transport all her instruments to their gigs! Also, sadly, she wasn't able to bring a piano which meant all those songs we love with piano such as Swan Song, Rising, Edge of the World etc were off the set list. Still fantastic shows however.

Apocalypse is the beginning of the end with the incidents. Under the Red Sky is after the bombings and the need for love, faith, and hope for the civilization to move on. It is funny that you mentioned what would happen if Miyako walked into a store and started jamming. Well not quite the same, but during Lovebites' world tour while they were in Valencia Spain Miyako posted this on her Twitter/X account: After we all went to the beach and had dinner, I wandered around town by myself. Then I heard a band playing, so I looked into a bar-like place and someone said to me, "Come in." When I told him I could play the guitar a little, he said, "Let's improvise!" and we all jammed together 🤣 I made some fellow musicians in Valencia!!! She posted a video of it, and you could see how impressed these old guys were to see her guitar skills. Afterward she told them she was in a band that would be playing at the festival and they were interested in checking out Lovebites.

Yeah Miya is really a music nerd. In Japan she mainly use a selfcomposed pedal board, with all her switches and pedal and stuff... She even got her own Custom Lunastone pedal with her own insignia, in same colour as her Orange speaker. Besides her usual Deans she got a few Gibson Les Pauls, flying V and a Futura (Explorer with V-neck). She also has used some Fenders. Strat and Tele... Just before the EU-tour she unpacked a PRS Custom 24 (I believe). She also has done some builds and rebuilds. Like on her Dean Icon. New PUs and from passive from active. I also saw this Gibson 335 style half-finished build in a video a few years back.

When the band first came together Midori was clearly faster. Miyako has always been more experimental, though both of them can go pretty far off the beaten track when they want to. Now Miyako appears to have caught up, but their styles are so different it doesn't really matter.

One thing that impresses me big time in this video - besides the cool riffs, excellent vocals and impressive playing - is how Midori-san doesn't miss a single note even though she almost falls backwards when Asami-san suddenly moves away while she's leaning against her. Udon, Yum! The food scene in Japan is just as insane as the music scene. Americans eating in Japan all say it is way way way better than Japanese food in America. Oh they are not lying.. I (TJ) taught English to children in Japan before the Pandemic and know first hand about the food there.. My favorite is Kushiage with some beer after a work day.. Japan is unmatched when it comes to cuisine!.. I can't wait to go back!

Not to start any rifts or anything but, I think, Miho Lovebites is better than Fami Lovebites… I, just think they were so friggin bad ass metal with Miho on bass as oppose to Fami’s more teen bopper presence… But this is an amazing song and the guitar work is out of this world. They are so collectively, a talented friggin band! I don’t think there’s a weak musician amongst them. ❤🐺🤘🏼 Oh, btw, you gotta react to their new song “Where’s Identity”… holy smokes does that song kick ass and also, they graced us with another 1+mins of amazing solo work! 🤯

We are all good Will!...Just wind amd rain...we got lucky amd just caught the outer bands of the storm. It was pretty powerful at category 4 ... Luckily effect in our area were minimal...It did knock the fence in my backyard down but it was opd and shitty lol

And... Are they even really playing the instruments? Or is it all some sort of "theatre"? I'm sorry, however this is one of the most awful things I've seen and hear in my entire life. And don't get me wrong, I like several stuff about japanese music, etc., I grew up with anime and anime music, I started to watch anime since I was a little girl, that was many, MANY years ago, I am a bit old now. I like some J-pop, however NOT 'mixed' / 'merged' with Metal. Please don't do that, don't try to combine things that shouldn't be combined ever. Please stop. They are absolutely playing their own instruments just look up individual videos on each musician and you will see their ability and your doubts will be completely erased. If you don't like the music that's understandable music is a matter of taste. Most people will agree that the talent in this band is phenomenal including myself. Also as a musician I can tell you that I can tell when someone is playing an instrument or not and they are most definitely on the right spots of the fretboard when they are both riffing and leading.

IS THIS A BAD JOKE / A PRANK? WHAT ON EARTH IS THIS? A "PSY-OP"? WHAT IS THIS "BAND"? Sorry, however I am having a very hard time believing this is a real Metal band. All I see is a "J-Pop" "idoru" girl GROUP pretending to play Metal... I don't know, this is awful. (Sorry for my bad english, it is not my language).
