Dude this is a really great lesson! I’m just going back through some vids that I have been neglecting as of late and this is an absolutely solid lesson I didn’t understand it that well the first time, but the entire idea of relative major and minor pairs is huge. And I’ll throw another vote in for the solo when you get around to it. Thanks Ryan.

For a long time my favourite song. Now a tough choice between Comfortably Numb, Rotten Apple (AIC) and Wake up (Mad Season). I was lucky enough to see Pink Floyd live in 93 in Italy. I was 18. We drove 4 hours, 2 hours concert and then drove back another 4 hours. Now only thinking about it makes me tired..

nothing compared to the 20 hours I did from Oklahoma to WV last week ;) haha but great story though Enrico. I'm considering that a request for rotten apple and wake up as well ;)

@@RyanLendt Ok, How about Master Ryan instead :-). Yes, I am very happy with the Taylor. I was looking into the 400 or 600 series, but just couldn't afford it....YET :). If you ever get back into the mood to do more Pink Floyd lessons, please do Mother. I got the basic chord progression just fine, but it the strumming patter that keeps messing me up. I think its that broken 3/5 type like Cover Me by Candlebox, but I just cant seem to nail it down :-) Thank you sir , and keep the lessons coming....they rule!!!!

Oh yeah has right. I forgot about Free World! I love playing that song. I swear sometimes a song that is considered to be hard. I can pick it up pretty quick with practice. Then Songs that are considered to be easy. I will have to put more practice into it. Untill I get it. It’s frustrating. I wanted to ask you something. When is considered to be the proper time to use a 7th chord or a sus chord in a chord progressio, when writing a song? I think I know but not sure?

I have a question about the B minor chord. Can the 1st and second chord shape of what you said be played up the guitar neck and stll be a minor chord with the root note?
@RyanLendt6 жыл бұрын
yessir :) Bm up higher would be: 799777
@theseeker44196 жыл бұрын
Thanks! So if I was to take that chord shape up a whole step it would be a C# minor then so on? The first two chord shapes. Not the A minor shape Barr chord. But the other two.
