Wow man, that National’s a growler! I have a Martin GCPA4R , Taylor T5X, and a Custom Strat they’re all awesome but my hand crafted by a great carpenter 12 string acoustic sings like a choir of Angels. That sucker (non humbucker) growled humlessly wonderful. Nice playing

that guitar is like when ya see an all origional brown 1972 oldsmobile toronado - and ya think who would sport that - then ya see some kid in a honda civic with a soup can muffler - then ya say - if that toronado was bright red with white interior , oh yeah id sport that!!!- with spoke rims too.....

i think this model had a third pickup, a kind of "acoustic" pickup mounted in the bridge, like a piezo. So the pickup selector gives you; 1 - neck pickup, 2 - bridge-position magnetic pickup, 3 - bridge-mounted "acoustic" pickup. With a volume and tone for each, but no combinations.

Michigan’s not on that map. 😢 But they sound cool here too. 😅 I’ve got a Westwood, the wood body map guitar. A little brighter actually than the fiberglass maps I’ve played. The Vista-Tone pickups are great: big sounding but spanky too.
