Epistaxis13 Also, I feel like this is applicable even more towards Billy's songs than other artists.... Start slow (with a metronome), and then gradually pick-up the tempo! I'm not trying to be condescending, because that's literally the first thing any instructor would tell you. But, I often try to jump right ahead to the high BPM's for Bluegrass songs, and I alway end up regretting it. Haha. Don't be like me, nothing but bad times ahead! 😂

Heath Kish , thanks man. I did start off slow, 75% speed on KZbin video. But I’ll give it a shot

Watching you giggle through the solo was worth the whole video. I don't even play guitar.

I had a feeling this had lots of metal influences to it, I just didn’t have the theory knowledge/vocabulary to articulate why I had that feeling! I swear this series is one of the most insightful things on this site

Have you heard of Khruangbin? They have this amazingly global sound that seems to infuse dub, funk, and soul without any lyrics. It's really cool, and their guitarist is a beast. I'm sure many on here would love to see your analysis. Here's a live video from about a week ago: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jHLIZoaseptljqc

I was witness to Billy pretty much growing up and out here in my hometown, got to see him play many many times and once even in the basement of our local bookstore!
