Thanks Michael for reacting to my request. You explaining the theory behind these songs is very helpful! Keep up the good work!!

Been following this band since 2015 when I was them in Europe. They blew me away and felt like a time machine had swept me back to the 1970s. If you love southern rock and don't have this band in your collection, you are missing out.

So glad you covered this band. They are SO GOOD! Henry James is a monster player.

I watched them jam this song for almost 20 minutes in aschaffenberg last year. The callbacks between piano and guitar were amazing.

That was great! Soooo Allman Brothers, for sure. And, yeah, the camera was driving me crazy, too! Hahahahaha! Thank you, Michael! You did good.

If G is homebase, why do you not call it G major but call it D Mixo?
@Gert-Jan_Witteveen4 ай бұрын
It's because D feels like homebase: the D chord seems to be the resolution (home, in fact). That's why the D pentatonic scale fits perfectly. Of course you can solo in G, but because D feels like home, it's a good idea to switch modes.

Relisten carefully, with your guitar in hand, to what Michael said. Pause when necessary. And internalize what he was explaining. It will make your day.
