Lucas could make a pawnshop special sound fantastic, but that is a wonderful sounding Gibson!

Cool! Not my personal style of guitar but a nice example of what it is. Can’t wait for my newer acoustics to open up like that. Definitely takes time for the tree to realize it’s now a guitar.

I've got my sisters '65 Epiphone Caballero, same specs as an LG0. The Epi's were made along side the Gibson's back then. In addition to the plastic bridge replacement, the internal bride plate on these need attention. Made from soft spuce or plywood they get chewed up by the string ball ends. The bridge plates are almost as wide as the top, & due to the ladder bracing very difficult to remove. I patched the holes, then glued a hard maple overlay over the plate. With a backing board redrilled the pin holes cleanly. The fingerboard width at the nut is 1 9/16".
