Jay's really good. Max is on a level beyond words. Almost certainly the best "meat & potatoes" drummer in rock. Open heart surgery, colon cancer, 66 years old...he shows up in a suit and doesn't break a sweat. Max is mighty indeed.

I think he is the perfect drummer for slipknot...now, 12 years later, as a slipknot member and two times ('19 &' 20) metal drummer of the year, nobody can hate him anymore... Joey Jordison (R.I.P.) was a legend on the drums with his own style, but Jay is a complete different person at the drums... A damn beast...

Great camera angles letting you get a good look at Max, a real treat as his technique is so tight and formal (I don't know how he does it without sweating profusely in those suits)!
