One thing i love about AiC is that in an environment where everyone was trying to play faster and faster, they were not scared of slowing it down without losing the brutal heaviness. This song sounds like someone is just beating their head against a wall. So much dissonance.

You got a subscribe from me sir. This song, this band, this sound. I was having a really rough time with life and there is a few bands that I listen to when I'm finally alone with my dog that just bring every single bit of emotion out of me. The tunes just speak to me.pantera,Alice in chains, nirvana even rappers sometimes like rittz.the music just bring it out mostly because of the way the lyrics will happen to relate perfect. But Layne, and Jerry man. It's a whole different level when I put these tunes on they just bring it out. Playing these songs on guitar if I'm having a rough time with Layne and Mike behind my amp will sometimes bring it out to dangerous levels.the music is just so good it reaches down into your soul and grabs whatever is bothering me brings it to the surface and forces me to let it all out. Layne and Jerry's music Is what my feelings sound like.i get chills my heart hurts my breathing gets harder tears pour and it can make me break down really hard. And it's usually exactly what I need to mentally make it through the night and rinse all that bullshit off my mind and soul. If it wasn't for Layne's voice doing that for the last 25 years to me I probably wouldn't even be here typing this right now. There is nothing on the planet or in history that will ever top songs like this for me.

Nice choice! You're like a lot of people that were teens in the 90's, not boxed in to listening to one certain type of music but listened to a wide variety of music. Hip-hop was great then, rock, grunge, still had the Grateful Dead shows, and electronic music had gotten to another level. We just had so much good music to choose from, it's crazy.
