Same here. I have watched almost every video on his channel in the last 3 to 4 years. His blunt and passionate way of teaching has inspired me and pushed me more than anyone else to get to where I am today.

I actually recently bought a pedal that has not only a few drum tracks built in but came with a looper, I'm definitely gonna start practicing like this more. Great vid on improvisational methods and how to achieve a better focus for becoming better. 🤘

Great video Claus. I'm practicing bending vibratos and I find them much more easier from about the 9th fret to the 15th fret. Higher in the neck they give me some trouble. Upper in the neck (like at the 5-7 fret) they give me A LOT of trouble. For instance, the opening bend to the Stairway to Heaven solo... I suck badly at it. I can't do vibrato on that. If I try the same at the 12th fret I'm quite good. Any specific advice other than the always true "practice more"? Thanks!
@gerandr15 жыл бұрын
Hey, i was struggling with these 5-7 fret bends myself. What helped me and got me better at doing them was actually feeling the motion of the fingers going under the upper strings as i was bending the 2nd string and having a mirror in front of me so i can watch my fingers doing it from a different angle. You will know it immediately when you are finally doing it right. Try and start any bend with your fingers not touching the fretboard at all, and when you feel that it's time to start the bend place them and do it immediately. If you fail it's okay, unplace the fingers again and start over. That way your fingers will learn the right position to be placed when you will be needing to perform a bend.

What should I do when chord changes? Should I change arpeggio or change scale? For Example: Aminor playing in the back and I play C scale with accents on Am7 arpeggio notes. Then chord in the back changes to Dminor and what I should do? play D dorian or D aeolian? or both way right? or can I play main key arpeggio only even if chords changes?
@guitarmastery4 жыл бұрын
The possibilites are endless. It depends what sound you are going for. If you keep playing the same arpeggio over the chord changes you basically go through different modes. You could play both D dorian and D aeolian over the D minor. There is no wrong or right in music. Play around with what sounds you get from the choices you make,.
