The exciting point is Ding will now play for win, not calmly seek a draw. Next three games will be more interesting.

Hey Aman, we met in Berlin. Me and my wife talked to Eric's mom and your brother until we all got drunk and had to go home. Anyway, thank you for the review. I got home and wanted to see your review but it wasn't out so I watched Hikaru's, but then saw yours was out too so I watched yours also and I must say I appreciate yours a lot more since you go so much more in depth, even if you do have to sacrifice some views for it. Keep up the good work!

@@Neodynium.the_permanent_magnet I also saw them in Berlin that night. They were taking Jäger bombs, ripping handbags out of the hands of old ladies screaming YEP WE TAKE THOSE. I heard police caught them later while flailing their arms at people yelling PUSH EM BABY. Dont support these guys

21:35 I think in the post-game interview, Gukesh mentioned he kept the rook on d1 because he was concerned about ...Bd2, ...Bb4 (presumably in some variations).
@answeris4217Ай бұрын
Gukesh deserves it because he is playing risky two edged positions. And using half your time on one move that's pretty insane to me

I’ve watched multiple recaps and this is the best for low elo nubs like me. I actually felt like I understood the game, while with Levi or Agad it was just going through the emotions. Thanks for such a nice recap

24:25 I sure wish we got some analysis on WHY Qc8 blundered everything... 😢
@talleyberryАй бұрын
Because after Qxc6, black can take back with the queen and lose a rook (…Qxc6 Bxc6 bxc6 Rxb8) or with the pawn and lose a piece and a pawn (…bxc6 Rxb8 Qxb8 Rxb8). Or play something else like Rc7 and just not recapture the piece. Tough playing Gukesh down a piece.
@hyrumhammon6647Ай бұрын
He showed it. Qxc6 wins easily.

@@talleyberryI don't understand. If the queen would've remained at c7, the same sequence as you mentioned would have followed. So what was so special about the move to c8?

@@sbgtrev it didn't adress the threat, a very sad move like Nd8 would've maybe held it together for a little longer, but really it looks pretty bad regardless to me
