Saira I absolutely love your gulab jamun receipe but there is a little confusion about the cup size measurement Could you please clarify how many grams of powdered milk are in the cup you are using. This measurement in grams would really help all your subscribers to make the perfect gulab jamuns My metric cup measures 135 grams of milk powder for instance A US cup size is 128 g Another cup I have measures 125 g 😞 It all gets very confusing with different measurements! If you took one cup of milk powder and weighted it on a scale in grams that would really solve everyone's dilemma Thank you so much for your time and wonderful receipes. Here in Maldives we have slight variation while making the syrup. Replace the lemon juice with rose water instead. also our gulab jamuns tend to be a third in size, but i've mostly encountered the giant ones elsewhere

They have different purpose, rose water is for flavor and lemon is for removing sugar crystallization, one is not a substitute to another.
