I don't know who was right but the fact that Johnny Depp was dropped from the fantastic beast franchise because of a news article while she goes on to do movies without any consequences even though most of the evidence suggested what you wrote above is what annoys me. There was even a petition to remove her as Mera from the Aquaman movies but nothing happened where as Depp was dropped from that movie instantly.
