@LUR1FAX3 жыл бұрын
@@petyrbaelish1216 You can already buy American made ammo even if you can buy Russian ammo. And American ammo will be even more expensive and in even shorter supply when the Russian ammo disappears. This is the excuse they always use when passing restrictions on imports. Countries need to compete with the international market. Because there's more than one country on planet Earth. Calibers like 5.45×39mm might disappear from the American market when Russian ammo stops coming in.

@@phillipweissburg1882 You know their gun laws aren't even that bad, right? The only shit thing is waiting 5 years to get a rifle, but even that's been somewhat fixed now with pseudo-shotguns. They can legally obtain balanced-recoil guns and that new AKV-521 is the most advanced AK out there, has all the great features of the AR, and was developed to lessen the impact of the gun laws on multi-calibre platforms. So, technically russian citizens have more advanced firearms than American ones, just not in the same sheer amount due to gun culture only just becoming major, and I'm guessing it's just not as easy to transport them and such. I haven't heard any anti-gun BS from the russian government, so there's no real reason for them to even consider taking up arms and having another revolution. Now, that's a major red flag when you think about it, the most pro-gun country in the world, America, has less-modern firearms than a country that escaped a Dictatorship.. Some real food for thought there, and the gun control in America is escalating faster than any country currently, that I know off.

First time I ever bought ammunition was in 1969. It was 29¢ for a box of 50, 22 long rifle Winchester at El Toro Marine base. Primers were 79¢ a pack of 100. The first time I saw 2¢ per shot. I stocked up. I'm 63 and pretty sure I have enough ammunition and reloading supplies the last me to rest of my life. The only thing I buy now as far as ammunition or reloading or weird bullets when they come out. Like those weird French defense projectiles. 135gr skirted .451 cal. 1500 fps from a 45acp through 16in barrel. The front of it looks like drill point. Not drill bits that's what happens when you break a drill. That makes as much sense as saying fully auto. You can get cars that are fully automatic but not guns.
